    I recently had a conversation with a 60 y o Jamaican immigrant, who watched videos of Garvey growing up. He said Garvey was a short man that looked like breathed fire every time he spoke. Very inspiring.
    He went on the say he never heard of another man like him, other than Malcolm X.
    Apparently, Garvey wanted to get into distribution trying to buy those ships.

    I think Dubois was dead wrong about Marcus Garvey. Garvey was a part of the independence branch of the Black liberation movement. Dubois was a part of the dependence branch of the movement. I believe time has proven Garvey correct.

    • @dillaga2034
      @dillaga2034 Před 2 lety

      Dubois, like Hover, was threatened by the "black dollar" leaving America (Babylon) before the set time. If all the black people were to separate from this "country" and went back to Africa/Europe and other parts of the world where their ancestors are from, (no we didn't all come from Africa) this "country" would collapse faster than a "house of cards." They destroyed "black wall street" didn't they?

    • @BIGMAN7917

      Garvey was a fraud. Dubois was doubtful of Garvey cause Garvey never been to Africa and wouldn't provide DETAILS when he asked Dubois for money for his Black Star Line. When Dubois refused...Garvey talked shit about and hated him ever since...

      Garvey met secretly in Atlanta with Edward Young Clarke, Imperial Wizard Pro Tempore, to THANK him for imposing JIM CROW laws on African Americans. Garvey even naively believed Edward that the KKK weren't lynching blacks and burning black towns...which is exactly the KKK we're doing.

      We always tear our fellow black man down. It's a racial defect that we have to purge away. In the end Dubois himself moved to Ghana because integration through legal strategy was a failure. And he didn't have the guts to warn the next generation not to follow that failed strategy which they did and here we are.

    DuBois was what is now called a black gatekeeper. Marcus Garvey told the true in an era as masked in lies and deceit as it is today.
    In retrospect, the American empire is finally collapsing as it was built on total corruption and great will be the fall of it [Matthew 7:27 - Amplified Bible: 27. And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell-and great and complete was its fall.”]
