It’s that same thing Mae West did of “wear wigs in styles fashionable with people aged 20-50 years younger and you will DEFINITELY look younger yourself”, but at least Jayne carried it off well rather than Mae who looked like Sophie Tucker crossed with Fabio (not Fabian, obviously my metaphor is not year-appropriate as the latter was about 5 when Mae was doing that!) with her bizarre long pageboys with a 1940s-esque beehive plonked on the top. So shameless, so brilliant.

Love this hair and the info on Jayne. Always love watching your videos. I recently saw the car that was in the fatal crash that killed Jayne online on Facebook. And it sent me down a rabbit hole. I ended up hearing a recorded conversation between the current owner of the death car(who had it on display in Hollywood until the pandemic hit. Now it’s in storage.)and the girlfriend of the driver of the death car who perished as well that fateful night. It was very interesting because she was pregnant with this man’s baby at the time of the accident and her father owned the Super Club Jayne had performed at the night of her death. Apparently She wrote a book talking about their lives and her experiences post the driver’s death and clears up a lot of misinformation about this man who drove the death car. It was fascinating!

Hey Jaymes! You’ve had me hooked on these since your Raquel Welch hard front wig style, which I shared with my boss and coworkers who also loved it! Being a “disgruntled Olive Garden patron” is one of our favorite phrases & inside jokes now! I love the pink leopard print apron/dress! It matches my hot pink nails! Where did you get it? I LOVE anything leopard print! The bizarre artistry of this updo is VERY unique.
This would make such a cool series if you talked about stars and there hairdos while you duplicate or add a James M modification to it because you really give great insight and also it would be cool for the children to get some culture about older styles and Hollywood stars from the past they all have interesting lives it could be a hit plus a complete nod to everything trending in those years hit songs cars thAt were being driven imagine if you did a Mae West and talk about her that would be epic 🌹👍👌🏽
