Just addressing a tiny fault. You cannot become a psychiatrist after doing bsc psychology. You will have to write NEET after 12th, finish MBBS, and choose psychiatry as a specialisation. So psychiatrists are actual doctors, and can prescribe medicines. However, clinical psychologists cannot prescribe medicines, but only offer diagnoses and therapy
can i become a counsellor with bsc? asking bc im a science student and not good at social science till 10th
@@rae.___. you could do bsc or ba, in case you want to become a counselling psychologist. you would also have to additionally complete your masters too, to practice as a psychologist.

@@agam19 no they can't prescribe medicines.. they work under psychiatrist ( mbbs, MD) for counseling and behavioral therapy...

didi mujhe bhi psychology padhni hai or clinical psychologist ban na hai .ab problem ye hai ki jab me 11 me aya tha mere school me psychology subect nahi tha to us time 11th and 12th to mene karli uske bad mene mass communication ka college join kar liya and me abhi jounalism ka course kar raha hu. me 2nd year 4 sem me aa chuka hu. chalo ye bat to samajh aa gai ki BA ke baad MA me apn psychology opt kar sakte hai magar mujhe sach me kuch samajh nahi aa raha ki sab kaise manage hoga ... like mene 11 and 12 nahi padhi mera BA kisi or field me hai or ab me agar direct MA psychology me admission leta hu to me kaise cover kar paunga . mera previous to kuch padha hau hi nahi hai . kuch samajh nahi aa raha .. please guide kariye na . kyuki mujhr aisa lagta hai ki MA me jane ke liye shayad 11 & 12th ki and BA ki knowledge honi shayad jaruri hai..... please guide kariye kya karu kuch samajh nhai aa rha....😢😢

This is not accurate information! Masters is the BARE MINIMUM for working as a psychologist. YOU CANT BE A PSYCHIATRIST WITHOUT MBBS AND MD.
Being a psychologist and being a psychiatrist are two different things. Psychiatrists are trained in both medicine and mental health and that's why they need a MBBS or to say MD degree for that , while psychologists focus solely on mental health. And one can become that through BSc/BA and further studies. So do not just declare this information as inaccurate, get the facts checked first. She has given the correct and accurate information. Do not spread misnomer by commenting as such.
