Leaked a few months ago, the new 'infection mode' being developed for Halo Infinite will have some notable changes to the series of infection modes in previous games. This time with the infected Spartans being infected with the Banished AI construct, Iratus.
Why is 343 so damn afraid to bring back the flood? Like sure there's nothing wrong with trying something new, but the flood is an essential part of the game's lore and we haven't seen them since '07. This is a genuine let down.
Why the hell is Dinh using a Flare to see? He either is, or is OVERWHELMINGLY implied to be, a Spartan 3 due to his origin showing him among a squad of dead Spartans wearing SPI while he saw himself wearing SPI as well and was visibly younger. Spartan 3s got the exact same effects of augmentation as the 2s (their chemical enhancements according to Kurt, a Spartan 2, had all the same effects with none of the risks of the Spartan 2's surgical enhancements) which means he'd also have the retinal augmentation that gave them near perfect vision in the dark. This is sloppy, even for 343.
It sucks to see that 343 is pretty much doing away with the Flood as a whole. I like this concept, but still, I've been waiting for the return of the Flood since Halo 3
Screw Infinite. I was a devoted Halo fan since day 1, and 343 has systematically destroyed everything that once signified "Halo". WHERE'S MY GOD DAMN SPLIT SCREEN!

I have a feeling that the Banished are gonna be knocking at our door step real soon like in destiny 2 where the tower got attacked

You can literally play split screen multiplayer in infinite unless your talking about the campaign
'Promo SM'
