  • In this gardening video I harvest some crops from the garden as well as planting out a variety of vegetable and flower plants. My seedlings are very small and it is questionable whether they should go into the ground but as it is nearly mid June I feel I cannot hold them back anymore so I have a mammoth planting out session in the garden beds.
I construct my bean tippees as well as a cucumber and gherkin frame. I mulch a large bed with homemade compost and have another bonus harvest from a kale plant.

Hello Bethan another great update- your garden is so lovely and full of great harvests. I need to get better at continuous planning and sowing to ensure I always have something to harvest. ❤I think today I will do some intersowing with beetroot as well 😊

Hi Bethan. I've just subscribed to your channel and this is my first post. I have been trying to get hold of some Greek gigantes bean seed for some time now. If you find a supplier would you be kind enough to share in your vlogs please? Many thanks and happy gardening 🙂

Great work Bethan and a lovely harvest ❤
My courgettes are doing okay outside, apart from the odd slug attacks. Love how quickly you turn a bed around. I’ve just sown a lot of seeds, greyhound cabbage being one of them. We just cannot get spring onions to germinate this year, 3 attempts in very big containerwise cells. 😢 very odd.
Where are you getting your Greek giganti from?? Kerry from Dog on the plot sent me some and they are doing great. I have a few beans left if you would like them? Pm me your address if you do xx

Oooh thanks very much Allie, I was going to check in TKMax, which sounds strange but I'm sure I remember Danny saying he got his from there. I will PM you with my address if you have some spares, I've not grown them before but I do like butterbeans.
The courgette seems to be surviving if not thriving so I'll probably plant out my squashes asap, I can't hold them forever!!
Greyhound cabbage is great, once it gets growing you can see it growing by the day.
Are the spring onions the same variety or have you tried different ones? It is odd as spring onions are usually reliable but every seed has been a bit variable this year.
      Take care 😍

I rinse my lettuce in water and then use a salad spinner to rinse off the worst of the water, sometimes I leave it in the fridge in the salad spinner but usually I wrap it in a tea towel and put in the salad compartment in my fridge. Thanks for watching 😊
