This GUN Completely DESTROYS Tank Armour (War Thunder FV4005)

The British FV4005, more commonly known as the 'Death Star' sits quite comfortably at BR 6.3 in the lineup - but is it actually any good in War Thunder or is it a bit of a sheep in wolf's clothing? In today's video, we put the 183mm cannon with 228mm HESH rounds to the test against some tough armour!

They've nerfed the hell out of HESH. The 4005 used to just evaporate everything it hit. Back when the Object 279 came out and hordes of them were rushing the spawn, I used to troll them with the 4005. You didn't even have to hit a 279 with it to kill it. You could just shoot the ground beside or under the tank. It was rare for a 279 to survive a hit from it. HESH used to be effective against Russian stuff, but not anymore.

I just obtained the FV4005 and it can kill Tiger 2 from a direct hit on its frontal armout! It is amazing!
