Thanks for the interesting video. Why is there so much emphasis on the gum of mint stamps when gum does not really add to the visual appeal of the stamp? I understand the part about unmounted mint being harder to come by compared to mounted mint ones, but nobody really admires the back of the stamp more than the front. I have an sg403 with redistributed gum but i paid less than a third of what it would cost if the stamp was unmounted mint (with the front of both stamps looking equally visually stunning). Is there a problem with how the market is pricing these two stamps as the gum at the back of the unmounted mint one is theoretically worth more than 2 hinged mint sg403.
