Will my $320 Honda Civic survive a track day?

I bought a cheap Civic. Everyone should do that at least once. I took it to MSR Cresson - for TrackNightInAmerica, and they let me drive for over an hour with Corvettes, Porsches, BMWs and Subarus whose tires cost more than my car.

As long as the car does not leak fluids and won't chuck a suspension component off, whatever gets you the most seat time within your budget is the best option.
24 hours of lemons was an eye opening experience for performance, and its fun to think that you can apply the same principles to a track day car within reason.

I think I’ve nailed most of the fluid leaks, and the suspension is my next area to explore. It seems that you can spend as much as you like on seat time - there was a McLaren Customer Support truck at the track too.
