Each end every video is an absolute gem - thanks for sharing so generously - with greetings from France
Glad you like them!
You are the best, Louise. So cheerfully succinct. You get right to the meat of the matter and so generously demonstrate. Thanks, as always.
You are so welcome!
Thank you Louise. You are so helpful to artists . You are a very generous woman. Sending hugs from sunny NC. USA.
You are so welcome! Thank you for being here. ♥
Awesome STUFF You showing. Real impressive and mind swirling )
Glad you enjoyed it 😍
Messermeister silicone bowl scraper. 😊
ah thank you!
show me the bowl scraper please
@@sallyneal1 if you Google it, you’ll see it. I got mine from Amazon, but it’s showing as unavailable in the UK at the moment. Louise does show some alternatives on another video. Jackson’s art supplies in the UK do something similar.
Thanks again for sharing your knowledge. I just purchased a trowel and have used it only once but the effects are amazing.
Wonderful! Don't be afraid to try and experiment with it. That is how we learn 😀
Thank you! I always find your videos very helpful and inspirational.
I'm so glad!
I likey. Thank you
I'm glad you liked it!
Thanks so much, Louise. I love these shorter videos! I just received my first commission for a painting and after watching your videos I know it’s time to play, play, play and press into my own language with the paints and tools I have. I told them I would paint 3 canvases (in the size they requested,) in a series and they could pick one or none. I don’t want the pressure to please…and asked them to think on how they want the finished piece to make them “feel” when they see it each day.
Wonderful!
So helpful, Louise.
I like it !!!
Glad it was helpful and thank you for watching!
Nice thank you !!
Welcome!
Fabulous Louise! I’m off to find my sander….
Thank you!!
You’re welcome 😊 Glad you enjoyed it!
I love your posts. They all help me. I am in week 4 of cvp.
Wonderful! That's a great course x
Your work makes my soul sing!

So glad you enjoyed it Jenny!
I am in the process of learning, I found your video very interesting. Thanks!!!
Glad it was helpful! Happy painting!
Great video! Your work is so amazing! I was aware of the tools although I'd forgotten about the spray bottle and hadn't used the sandpaper yet. Thank you for inspiring!
You are so welcome! Glad it inspired you!
Thanks for sharing these tools Louise - I use all of them except the orbital sander
which I plan to get. I'm no so great with a brush so without these tools, I would be in trouble. Thanks again Louise!
You’re welcome 😊
You are a genius at this. ❤️
So glad you are loving my videos. Thank you!
@@ThisPaintingLife Been following you for years. Great lessons and no wasted time. Some videos spend half the time babbling before they even pick up a brush. You are the BEST. ❤️
Thanks! I am learning as I go :)
Always helpful! Love seeing all five tools used together - especially enjoy seeing the effects of the sander.
Do ever use color shapers?
Sometimes - I have a large flat one that I like
@@ThisPaintingLife I love when I don’t want any brush strokes.
Love your sharing Louise. Wondering what you paint on?
These are plywood panels
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it 🖌
@@ThisPaintingLife the ideas have got me unstuck! Yay
Oh that's so exciting :)
fantastic techniques and application! Love them all and can't wait to try... May I please ask where you found that circle stencil at the beginning of the video? (in the background)? I've been looking for an overlapping one forever! Thanks Louise❤
I wish I knew but I have no idea. I tend to just grab random bits when I see them on Etsy, Amazon or (mostly) eBay. So sorry :(
That's okay ❤ no problem!
Oh yes, I’d love a little orbital sander, ❤xx
I buy the cheapest ones I can find because the paint seems to do them in after a while
👏👏👏
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your paintings are great. What grit sand paper are you using?
All of them! I try one and if it isn't removing enough paint (or if it's removing too much) I adjust accordingly
Hi Louise 😊. I thought acrylics could not go over oil. I'm confused. Also, how do u seal both the oil w/ the acrylic.
Can I sand with sandpaper on a layered canvas? Or only on wood board? Obviously an orbital sander would rip canvas, but maybe not a fine sand paper? In order to show some of the bottom, under painting and layers? Has anyone tried this?
Hi Louise ❤!
The blue kitchen paper roll, what is the brand name and what is it called om amazon? I can’t find it 🤔
Hi Eva, try Scott Shop Towels! That usually brings them right up. 🖌
@@ThisPaintingLife Thank you Louise 🙂
Are you working with a wood base? That’s not a canvas is it?
Can you mention all the tools in the comment?
