Top 10 Largest and Busiest Airports in the carribean island

No Piarco Air port Trinidad and Tobago. I fully didn't expect it because most of the air traffic in the Caribbean is as a result of Tourist arrivals and T&T definitely not a tourist destination. So fully expected.
How many passengers go through that airport yearly, not much compared to the other airports in the Caribbean, Cal is the most popular airline that flies there so go figure
*3 Airport of the Dominican Republic* 🇩🇴
- 2:51 Cibao Internacional AirPort, City Santiago
- 6:18 Las Américas International AirPort, City Santo Domingo
- 7:12 Punta Cana International AirPort, City Punta Cana
They are fighting for the top 10 : Gregorio Luperón Inter. Airport , La Romana Inter. Airport and Cabo Rojo Inter. Airport 💪🏻
What happened to NAS and CUN(granted it's Caribbean just not an island) ....these are both airports in the Caribbean?
Over 5 million enter Sangster International
Exactly SIA is the fastest going airport in the caribbean 😂
The only reason Puerto Rico is number one is because most of the passengers arrive at just one airport. Whereas in the Dominican Republic we have about 7 international airports which total more than the number of passengers than Puerto Rico gets. The Punta Cana airport alone, gets about the same number as the San Juan airport.
You're wrong, PR has three airports , San Juan (north) , Aguadilla (west) and Ponce (south). You can check it out.
@@jonathanz361 I know Puerto Rico has more than one airport. What I said was, that most of the passengers arrive at the Luis Muñoz Marín airport. The other ones don't handle a significant amount of passengers.
That's true. Puerto Rico really has one major airport and that's San Juan . Dominican Republic has more airports and if it had one single major airport it would have been on top.
Where do you get your information from,it is not correct.
Sorry this is not correct. What happened to Havana, Nassau, Cancun, Barbados alone has more European flights that St Thomas virgin islands.
What about Barbados airport
Cancun is north America
But I'm surprised BGI and HAV didn't make the list
lol SXM too
Where is Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados?
The southern part of the island in the parish of Christ Church..it has one of the longest runways in the Eastern Caribbean, with a runway length of 11,017 feet.
I didn't expect the Cibao Airport to show up, but that "Santiago" footage is actually Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone. Was this made with AI?
What hapoen to st maarten ??
St.maarten fall off the map
Not you speaking of D.R🇩🇴 and showing clips of Dominica🇩🇲. These are two different islands.
San Juan LMM Int'l Airport made the last year 2023 12 Millions and we expected this year 13.2 Millions passengers , so Puerto Rico has 2 more In'l Airports Aguadilla make about 800000 passengers and Mercedita Ponce that make about 500000 passengers. Also San Juan has Regional/National Airports Isla Grande that make about 150000 passengers per year. That is Puerto Rico and Information come from PR Port Authority.
Puerto Rico will soon loose their spot to Dominican Republic. Punta Cana is growing like crazy.
I don’t know about that, and probably don’t think so.
@@Bgrmplanespotting Yes punta Cana will build a 3rd runway, building a terminal C and expanding its terminal A. Dominican Republic will receive 11 million tourist this year. Punta Cana received last year 9 million passengers and San Juan 12 million. Punta Cana is getting closer and closer and in no doubt in a couple of years will surpass San Juan.
@@tavroaar8173 Oh damn
Did he really say Street Thomas ?
I think the stat numbers are outdated. Las Americas receives more than 5 million passengers per year and Punta Cana receives well over 8 million passengers, per year.
Quien va a punta cana, va a punta cana. Esa es la diferencia.
Bruh!!! There is Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 and there is DOMINICA 🇩🇲 at 3:16 to 3:20 is DOMINICA 🇩🇲 get your info correct please, they’re not the same.
Persons from the Dominican Republic are also called Dominicans as well.
@@haradinscotland8572 I’m not saying no, I know that. But I was referring to that specific video clip, it was a clip from Dominica and not the Republic.
@@haradinscotland8572 I'm not sure, but I think you pronounce it differently. For example, people from the Dominican Republic are pronounced 'Domi-nican,' while people from Dominica are pronounced 'Domi-ni-can' (similar to 'Dominick-can')."
What's street Thomas?get your facts, it's Saint Thomas
I lost it when it said street airport, chile, he mad ey.
Wat happen to eastern side of the Carribbean. Antigua, Barbara
I could not help by notice that your speaker mispronouced over 45 words. Perhaps Acb King TV you need to pay more, someone that can actually speak properly
Point a pit-tree😂😂
Aruba this year will have like 1.6 million passengers. And remember it's for an island with only 120k population, compared to the other ones on this list.
🔥🔥🔥
As someone from the caribbean this list is surely incorrect
im saying😂
Sorry but I simply don't like how you did not mention st croix tisx Henry E rollsen airport we get flights days and it is part of the Caribbean islands😢😢
Isn't San Juan Puerto Rico in the Caribbean!
San Juan gets the prize simply because it's on a US territory. 😊
This is about numbers, bro.
@@josemercado4702 I kmow...but really tho, Porto Rico is the only part of the Caribbean where u can do layovers.....hence the reason y I say that.
@@geographyjawade6655 Wow! That makes a lot of sense!
@@waynejackson169 if u look into it...u can see the reason...most US airports are built for layovers..
The poorer Caribbean countries don't build airports up to that standard ....mostly single terminal airports
@@geographyjawade6655 OK, point taken!
I suspect this a Faceless Video using AI? I hear St. Thomas being pronounced as "steetThomas," and Magens (May-ghenz) Bay as " May-jenz. "
Clearly got his data from social media. The videos didn’t even accurately depict the respective island you spoke of. Very flawed and misleading video. 😂
San Juan airport customer service sucks big time. However, it has a first world infrastructure. Remember: puerto rico is America but it’s not America if you know what I mean.
Stupid comments. The title says Top 10 Busiest Airports and these people are arguing about a whole island. 🤦♂️
My island is better than yours! No mine is better! 🙄
What about barbados airport thus person have no clue about caribbean airpirts
Homeboy said cibo 😂

Sangster attracts over 5 million not 3 million...
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sangster_International_Airport
Airports with 1 million on this list but POS and BGI with over 2.5 million each aren’t on the list.
The actual Top 10 is:
Luis Munoz SJN
Punta Cana, DR
Las Americas. DR
Sangster, MBJ Jamaica
Grantley Adams Intl BGI Barbados
Guadeloupe
Ciboa DR
Martinique
Norman Manley Kingston Jamaica
Cyril King St Thomas USVI
That’s the real top 10 based on 2023 data…noting both Bahamas and Trinidad would be added based on 2019 data.
😮
Puerto Rico has always been number one and it will continue to be 🤷🏻♂️ sorry y’all haters
Hard to believe those informations. You do not have the correct data.
You failed to mention the great weed in Jamaica.
LPIA have over 5 mill
I love D.R. but like let PR be first, stop fighting that DR is this and does that, its true 90% of passengers arrive at SJU but oh well, is not your problem.
Besides, for the size of PR really 1 international airport is fine, now obviously this past year's they've opened 2 more so its easier to travel.
Nobody is fighting my brother. The truth is based on the numbers DR will soon surpass Puerto Rico . DR has a stronger tourism base and a more robust economy .
@@tavroaar8173 I know but am sick of both our countries having to compare each other. Just live and stop comparing, I personally don't care about who's has better tourism or who dosent. For me Puerto Rico is all to me and that's it.
@@Giorenix2024 it's not about comparing and about stating facts. Puerto Rico is not a country . DR is a country.
@@Giorenix2024 a country is where you belong and love. Not a single one is better than tje others.
Stop that silly BS! Grow up
Ohh please! If you are going to post informational videos on CZcams, at least make your due diligence and get verified and correct information. Showing clips and footage of Dominica 🇩🇲 as the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 is a super ultra Dumb Mistake. If you want your channel to grow do things correctly.
No hables 💩💩💩.
This absolutely lie. MBJ is the busiest airport in the Caribbean.
😂😂Don't embarrass Jamaicans please.
@@user-dx5mg9by9y how it is an embarrassment, when it's facts!
