@@BigmanDogs Okay but this ones an actual dream match. Like it's hard to think of a bigger marquee between two promotions right now. Like when they say Claudio and Yuta vs Lucha Bros is a "dream match" its cap, but this match is about as clear as could be.
@@DreamWorldSyd I know, but it has been overused to the point that it actually makes me less excited to see the match. Same way that the term "banger" is severely overused. It's kind of like how those corny "this is awesome" chants take me out of it too. But that's honestly a completely different discussion.

HOLY SHIT. I honestly thought it was gonna be Bryan vs Zack Sabre Jr at Forbidden Door since we weren’t able to get it at the first one last year, but this is even better!
I thought so too, but it feels like they're teasing something on RoH between Sabre and Samoa Joe so I suppose they didn't want to interfere with that by doing ZSJ/BD. I'm sure we'll get it down the road though

I could see Sabre challenging BD for Wembly saying how he ducked him after he recovered, and then ducked him at Forbidden Two by going after Okada, acting like he didn't just ignore the fact he never actually wrestled him. Maybe make it some sort of submission Ironman match. To ea)y push the who's the better technical wrestler

Just like the build up to Omega vs Jericho. Over a span of like 9 months, there was all but like 4 promos total ... that's about it. Nothing too extravagant, just straight to the point.
This is the pinnacle of modern pro wrestling.
This this is what BD wanted from Vince and couldn't get. Props to AEW for opening more doors for other companies to be visible in the US and for dream matches to be had. Forbidden Door 2 my money is yours for the taking
Fun fact: They were actually gonna let him wrestle in Japan if he'd stayed with WWE. It was other things that got him to leave.

Yeah we saw what Nakamura has been allowed to do but it's still probably minimalist. BD is closer to the maximalist side of working. Why trust Vince when he didn't need to? He definitely made the right decision. And now we all get to benefit for that. ❤❤🎉
@G Rid exactly saying Vince was open to it doesn't make sense because he had no contract with NJPW and he would never sign off on his guy possibly losing. Plus they did Nakamura just to get Great Muta for their so-called HoF

Fun fact for you: Danielson mentions in the press scrum that he made Wheeler Yuta join him on this hike in the red rocks. Seeing as how nobody else in this video appears, including Yuta, we can only assume Yuta is the one filming this!

What I'm expecting now is MJF vs Tanahashi, SANADA vs Darby Allin, Bullet Club Gold vs Bullet Club NJPW, etc.
MJF is on the record saying that he doesn't want to do Forbidden Door, I doubt SANADA would face Darby, and Juice is still loosely associated with BC in Japan

I like how Danielson took the effort to film some footage in a desert just to emphasize how he'll turn the Rainmaker dry
This was most probably shot at somewhere in Las Vegas, remember they recently did a PPV there. On the post match media scrum Bryan mentioned that on the dynamite before DoN he wasn't happy that Yuta got pinned so he did pull him out of bed the next day(figuratively) and dragged him to hike and train.

I'm nervous for these 2 going at it. Absolute dream match here and I feel that anything less than a 5 star classic will be pulled apart by a lot of the fans as not delivering on the night.
Genuinely this has the possibility of being one of the greatest in ring matches of all time. I hope they don't let the pressure of that get to them.

OK, now this is why Danielson really left WWE. To actually wrestle in Japan, with no restrictions. Even tho WWE told him they would let him, Vince had some restrictions. Now he with a company, that for better or worse, lets you "risk it". I know it would be good

I know this was a package and that they had however many takes they needed to get it right, but this is the coolest promo of any kind I have seen from Bryan, and he's a pretty good promo in general. This was something else though, this was very very cool. It definitely hypes the match even more than it already was.
