Hi Lisa, my cameo is not working with my computer, it was fine, now it’s telling me device not connected, I’ve checked the ports, everything is plugged in, it won’t work 😩

I was considering buying a brother scan n cut but after watching this video now I want a silhouette 3. Does the silhouette three have the usb portal? What difference are there between silhouette 3, scan n cut cm900 or cricut?

The Cameo 3 does have a USB port. I can't speak on the other cutters as I'm not familiar enough to describe the differences. We would be happy to answer any questions about the Cameo 3 though!

What's the difference in the green tape and the acrylic hot fix tape? I am about to purchase the pink heat press, and a few other things. Just making sure that I am getting what I need.

The green tape that you saw in the video was the sheet that protected the mat when you use in the Silhouette Cameo 3. The Acrylic Hot Fix tape is when you want to transfer your rhinestones from the magic flock to a shirt or decal. You should be able to use your Cricut, however we do tend to see some issues with Design Space bringing designs in (particularly rhinestone designs) and stretching them up which cuts the holes too large.

We recommend using Magic Flock to hold the stones together properly. We also use rhinestone transfer tape to transfer our project over.

Hey I have the Silhouette Cameo 3 and I also have the Designer Edition, I don't understand why yours look different than mine. Mine looks very outdated any idea how I can fix this ?

I have seen you show how to separate 6's and 10's in 3 different videos! Do you only work wit those sizes, therefore have only nixed those 2? While I find all 3 of those videos helpful, I need to know how to separate more than just those two sizes. Or find out if there is something I can purchase that separates them for me...you know, kinda like how you can buy coin separators?? Or even a creative hack. Any help, suggestions, hacks, products would help (as long as it is not ss6 or ss10...I've got that down from the 3 videos I have seen) Thank you

Yes, you can put it on anything. Washing the mug might be a little bit of a concern. You can always hand wash the cups and glass.

When you lift up that bar to feed your mat is the whole bar supposed to lift up or just that like middle to far right supposed to lift up? And most of the time and I lock my roller it doesn’t necessarily go all the way down to the lock is that right? Because sometimes when I feed my vinyl it starts like surfing I guess you could say like going side to side like it’s going all wacky it doesn’t stay on track like it supposed to why would it be doing that?
The bar would not come all the way off, when locking the bar you would still need to make sure the material is under the the rollers so that way your material would not move around so much. TheRhinestoneWorld I know the bar doesn’t come off but only the right side lifts up I wasNt sure if that how everyone’s is since I bought mine gently used. Even when the roller is on the mat sometimes it swivels like that I’ve wasted so much vinyl from it happening. And yes I use a mat so it the roller suppose to be on just the mat or a little on the vinyl as well ?? Thankyou
What size rhinestones are best for beginners?
The most basic size used is the ss10 and you would need to get Hot-fix rhinestones, usually the most popular color is crystal. Hope this helps.

Hi. I have used Gem Tec (Xpres), but it is no longer produced. It was 0.5mm thick and very good to use. Could you advise me a stencil film to use for the application?

Does thickness mean force on the cut settings for cameo 3 ??
The force says 33. I wanted to change thickness to 24

The same exact way. We have thousands of fonts and rhinestone designs on site to choose from. If you're using Design Space then when you open the zip folder after download, you'll use the Crafter File.
If anything is marked Live Template on the listings, do not get those. They're for the Wizard and will not work correctly on other softwares.
Go into our channel here in CZcams, and search the magnifying glass for cricut. Tons of videos pull up with us showing how to use these materials with a Cricut.

Is this the same process for applying it to fabric?
Yes everything's the same as to how to make the rhinestone design, you just wouldn't use the Bling Anything material. You would just directly press it to the shirt.

Yes you can use the Cricut to cut the Magic Flock.
The software may be the only limitation as you will need the ability to place SS sized stones.

May I make a suggestion? In as much as the current version that TRW is offering for sale is SilhouetteStudio 4, don't you think it would be pertinent to make an equivalent video showing the actual current user interface?
The interface you are showing has little resemblance to the distribution version.
For instance, at 5:08, your video is showing a "Cut Conditions" panel, which, as far as I can tell, does not exists in 4.

For a lot of the videos using Version 3, we have remade the videos using Version 4 so that we have videos for people who are still using the old and the new! We're working on re-making more for the newest version!

What setting did you use. My cameo 4 does not cut my holes completely. It's very inconsistent
Are you using the auto blade? We've found it to be a bit finnicky. Here are our recommended cut specs for the Cameo: www.therhinestoneworld.com/colorspark-cut-settings We also use our TRW Clean Cut blades in the cb09 Graphtec Blade holder, which fits perfectly in the grey plastic housing that comes with your Cameo 4. Is it a new cutting mat per chance, and are you peeling the flock backing and placing it directly to the mat?
If the mat is new, I like to season the mat. This means pressing a clean lint free tee shirt to it a few times to take that grip down a notch.
If it's ripping while on the mat cutting, you may try to experiment with the cut settings starting from the guide that TRW Pilar has attached above.

You can but it's very time consuming without the CorelDraw / Wizard. Still possible, just lengthy process. -TRW Crystal

Lisa, recently I watched one of your demonstrations and loved it because I am so new to Silhouette and you took the time to show step by step how to ... You sent me an email because I was about to send my Cameo 4 back as could not get any help. It's a long story. Anyway, I followed what I found online, got my nerve up, and tried my first cut. You sent your number to me so I could call, but I can't find it. Sorry. The problem? I chose the mat, etc, but when I sent it to my Cameo, it cut the mat and what little it went on the vinyl, did not cut at all. I went back to my settings to check everything and it was the same thing when I tried again. I don't know what to do and the little company I purchased from won't respond. Can you help me, please?
