Beautifully played moment between Georg & Amalia. She's so wonderful, it hurts to have it cut off like that.
Wow - Jessie Mueller blew me away in ON A CLEAR DAY. I can't wait to see what she has to offer in other roles! Amazing!

i feel like if jessie wasn't in waitress, she might've been cast in the revival. i love both laura and jessie though, but i feel like jessie has more of the innocence and endearment that laura didn't fully have.

2. Agreed. I saw the revival and Laura was fine…but how she played the scenes v the songs were not coherent. She sang them like a dream (expected) and performed them just fine, thought Ithink she could have dug deeper, but she played the scenes like a 90s sitcom. It wasn’t so much mature v not mature, it’s more that Laura forgot that Amalia is yearning to find a deep connection with someone who’s as well read as she is. That didn’t come across at all, but she still was as well cast as I could have hoped for when I’d been dying to see that show anywhere for years.
