    The Polaris RZR Pro XP comes in 3 different trim levels. The Ultimate comes with Ride Command and the Rockford Fosgate tweeters and front speakers. Polaris allows you to upgrade to a stage 3 kit that adds a 10" subwoofer with a 400-watt amplifier. The stage 4 kit comes with the same 10-inch sub and 400-watt amplifier and two rear 6.5" speakers.
    These kits were designed and wired exactly for these machines and most of it is plug and play. We went step by step through the instructions for you until we hit a few items that were not exactly as they were in the instructions and then we show you how to make this much easier of an installation!
    There is no need to rip the interior completely out of your machine! It is much easier to remove a few covers and snake a wire 18".
    The installation of the Polaris RZR Pro XP Rockford Fosgate Stage 4 Audio Upgrade should take you around 2 hours with the way we installed everything in the video. Be sure to have some small zip ties as they are not included in the kit and you will need them to secure the rear speakers wiring harness.
    We also have the Rockford Fosgate Stage 5 system in our CanAm X3 XRS (that installation is also on our channel) and that system seems to have better quality speakers, but it is not specifically designed for your machine like this kit is.
    Overall, this Polaris RZR Pro XP Rockford Fosgate Stage 4 Audio Upgrade made the radio much louder. If you have an early 2020 Pro XP, you will want to upgrade your Ride Command for better audio output. One the trails, we find we are riding at level 9 and above. The speakers are clear without distortion and can be heard with a helmet on.
    The addition of a roof and windshield significantly help in retaining the sound in the cab and would be a good addition to any Pro XP if hearing the radio at the lowest volume is important.

    We have to trim out some of the music that was played on the radio. Sorry, just playing by the rules. If you see some odd skips at the end, that is why. We will have more of how this sounds on the trail.

    Thanks for the video! I'm putting in a the Stage 3 , The Fosgate pods, and a light bar when I get home and I agree popo's instructions aren't always the greatest. Was nice seeing someone get all that plastic of haha.

      Rather than doing the PoPo pods in the rear, I might have found a better solution. Testing it now and going to make a video.

      Wrenches & Rides can’t get audio in the rear speaker, had a guy install but sub didn’t work. It was a 4 square pin that he missed. Don’t have much room, but hooked up the rear wiring snaked to the rear. Plug in speakers, sub works but speakers do not any tips? Even connecting to the front results in no audio

    I find Polaris instructions are updated on internet of course but when you get a product sometimes has old instructions which differ. Also pictures are generic and dont make sense some times with Polaris. Anyways they make awesome machines and stunner here also

    I just ordered the stage 4 for my 2021 Pro XP ultimate, thank goodness it comes pre-wired for the stage 4 speakers and subwoofer. Or else I would've just kept the front speakers.

    I have the 2021 premium and would like to put this system in my RZR. My issue is I already have so many wires in that area under my dash including my street legal kit front light bar rear chase light rear back up lights lighted flags and winch. I dont know if I can fit it. Thanks for the video.

    I plan to get a 2021 rzr xp pro4 sport and install a sound system. Every single audio maker(mtx,quartz,rockford fosgate, wss) indicates thier sound system is not compatible with this model. Is this correct? If so, do I have any alternative options? I've considered the in roof option from audioformz but question the durability and longevity along with its ability to really rock. The one I like is also $4700, ouch. I have no need for ride command whatsoever so don't see a reason to spend extra on the premium model. Thank you.

    Are there any aftermarket speakers that fit in the existing speaker holes?

      Problem is the speakers are in a box, so no hole there, otherwise they would.,

    It said it cane with an amp ... never saw you install one... there’s no amp needed ?

    • @WrenchesRides
      @WrenchesRides  Před 4 lety

      The only Amp that comes with this is the one attached to the sub. You can see it on the back as I install it. It is plug and play, nothing to really install or adjust.

    • @br4nd0n79
      @br4nd0n79 Před 3 lety

      Wrenches & Rides what about the Rockford fosgate speakers, we have a 23 pin amp connector that isn’t connected to anything. The sub works fine but the speakers front or back do not, ride command 7 button. I can’t find anything on why the speakers won’t work other than the sub, you’re holding the connector at 8:14

    If u pull the plastic back the sub goes right in, u don't have to take it all the way off, just enough

    Are you aware of the Hack or Patch? In " all settings" you will find a setting for Country. Set this to a different country, like Japan, and your volume will double. Problem is every time you start you machine you have to go back into settings and pick a different country. A fix is coming they say but I have installed the updates from the Ride Command web site, but it didn't help.

    • @WrenchesRides
      @WrenchesRides  Před 4 lety

      Unfortunately, the total volume is the same, it just makes it feel louder since it starts at 5 rather than 9.

      @@WrenchesRides Wow not on mine. when I Change the country I get enough volume to easily hear my tunes while driving at high speeds. Much cleaner sound. Lets hope the "Fix" promised by Fosgate comes soon.

    Is it just me or is it a lot harder to work on this machine compared to the turbo s and xp line....

    • @WrenchesRides
      @WrenchesRides  Před 4 lety +3

      This is easier to work on than the Can Am X3! There is a lot more happening on this machine and I am not sure I really like what PoPo did with the plug and play relay system. I really like the bus bar under the hood that was accessible in seconds.

    • @brucewedeking5447
      @brucewedeking5447 Před 4 lety

      I agree. My XP 1000 was much easier to work on. The center console is a pain on the Pro. Comes out in 5 or 6 pieces. While on the XP 1000 the center section is easy to remove and re-install. There is no room up under the hood of the PRO. I think they did a cab forward design to get occupants setting in the center of the car. It jumps really flat. But with all this said what a car. Solid feel, stable and more fun to drive then the old XP design. I bet next year the RZR S will be on the Pro chassis. The old XP look will fade away.

      @@WrenchesRidesSo plug & play is more difficult to work on than crimping wires & unscrewing/screwing nuts? 🤔🤨
