I have a diesel car and it vibrates when accelerating hard. But the idle is smooth. The whole car starts to shake when it's accelarating hard at around 100kmph. Does this has anything to do with a torn or disconnected vacuum hose?
EngrChillaX Poor acceleration and harder starting intermitantly were the problems we were having. Newer vehicles might trip a check engine light regarding the 02 sensors.
Thanks for the reply, actually i have a 350z with cracked pcv hose which i have taped temporarily but also the main issue is very high negative fuel trims o2 sensors are telling that i am running rich on both banks so i guess this issue can be related, right?
I have a toyota camry 1996 model. It has an idle like 1200 rpm. But when i put the ac on or engage to drive position it drops to just 800 rpm. What could be the problem?
Yup for sure! As long as you're patient and willing to learn. I would watch a couple other videos and pick up a Haynes manual for you car and study the job before you take it on. Very satisfying once you complete the job.
Get some of that shonky liquid gasket sealer, the metallic looking liquid one, not stop leak for older radiators. Ok now mix some with some water and coolant "it's not a science" I use in equal measure. This my friend you spray on all your rubber stuff twice a year, more if you need some "serious me time" away, it looks like you are working on the car. Like us women run the washing machine empty. Cheers big thanks.
The way you recommend the new hose was so important👏
Thanks for watching!
Could you please link the video where you clean it first? I have similar issues and it would be a huge help. Thanks!
I have this video czcams.com/video/rPfFZL2MO3Y/video.html
what are the typical pressure in the different vacuum systems?
This might help www.motor.com/magazine-summary/mastering-the-basics-reading-a-vacuum-gauge/#:~:text=Normal%20manifold%20vacuum%20at%20idle,%2DHg.

Possibly
Great point!

Are all lines supposed to be connected to something, there is one line that is just dangling around not sure what to do
All lines should be connected. If you're not sure what it is, bring it to your local trusted mechanic to diagnose.
@@AnthonyJ350 ok
Some are drains, and not connected.

Seems normal, you're adding load when you run the AC. Does it stall or hesitate?
It does not stall but it’s like have a hesitation.
@@boboypascual750 Try upgrading the grounds and see if that helps the electronic side of things. Also clean the battery terminals.
How do I get the connectors? Thanjs
Like buy the connectors?
This might sound dumb but is this something I can do on my own?
