FULL PARTS LIST
Your videos are legitimately helping me build my 2JZ. Goal is 600-650 whp 🤙🏻
Im glad to hear they are helping you my man!! Thank for the support!! 600whp will be a breeze for any 2J build 👌🤘
@@AutoMotiv8ed hello, do you think ge stock rods for 2jz nat engine will last 300 hp?
@@semihkaya7496 after months of research, 350-380hp is the absolute max the ge vvti rods could hold before they break, although the ge non vvti rods can hold double the power
@@AutoMotiv8ed thanks for the reply👍🏻
@@AutoMotiv8ed greetings from turkey ❤️
Great video properly explained! Just bought my first 2J its a ge vvti just like this one and getting as much info from youtubeand forums as possible!
thank you for the feedback sir!! keen to hear how you go with your 2J 👍
I look forward to hearing that thing sing with the Treadstone manifold.
Prepare yourself! The manifold makes it sound insssaaanneee
Thank you my guy!! Now you got us hyped to get it up and running ASAP 🙌
My dream build
It will happen my guy, patience is key!!
A tip I would give is if you are reusing the vvti gear, buy a new vvti o ring from driftmotion and replace it but make sure the bolts go back in the original spots bc im pretty sure its balanced. They are known to leak on these engines
💯
Great job guys!! Love the content, keep up the great work fellas!👌🏼✌🏼
Thank you for the support man!! Much appreciated 😃🙌
Excellent Video! I'm motivated to do this. Thank you!
Thank you sir 🙌
Beautiful engine and great build! I'm currently building a Honda F22a6 4 cylinder with forged internals and a turbo but I am really itching to build a nice inline 6 like this! I absolutely love this stuff! Nice work!
Thank you man!! Sounds great! I would love to see that thing go once your done!😍
Ive assembled a number of JZ engines and still learned some stuff here 👏
Thank you my guy!! ☺️
Great production 😃👏🏾
Thank you !! 🙌
Fantastic work guys! That was pleasing to watch! Keep up the great work 👌👍
Thank you so much 🙏🙏
Love Your Works
Thank you!!
Great informative video. Good work guys.
Thank you so much man!! 🙏🙏
Great tutorial guys 👍
Really appreciate it man!! 🙌
Thank you for this!
My pleasure! 👍🏻
solid video good stuff, there is actually toyota diagrams for silicone application too
Thank you for your feedback🙏🙏 You are correct sir, got to love toyota
this was helpful keep it up guys
Glad to hear 😊
Thanks for that instructional video
No problem! 🔥
Definetly trying this on my vvti will post a video
Awesome 🙏
Nice build.
Thank you 🙏
great video, making it look easy, one day i will do is300 wagon
Thank you sir!! You can do it, anything is possible
nice job boys
thank you 😊
Awesome! I’m starting my 2jz ge vvti build, I’m taking the bottom end of a 94 gs300 2jz ge since it has the stronger rods than the 2jz ge vvti that’s in my 99 gs300, slowly buying all the things I need for the build because I want to do it all in one go. My goal is only 500hp for now, and then to dress the car up real nice. Thanks for this video I appreciate it! You got yourself a new follower!
Thank you for the awesome comment! Feel so grateful to be sharing our 2jz knowledge with you!! Youre build will be sick!! keen to know once your done!! feel free to send us some photos to our Instagram dm 👍
@@AutoMotiv8ed I think an issue I may run into is with the transmission I should use. Since the short block will be from an older 94 gs300, that used the 4 speed a340, where as the car I’m putting my built engine into is a 99 gs300 that used the a650ethat is a 5 speed. Would I be able to use the a650e on the short block from the 93 gs300 or should I get an a340? And at that point would I need some sort of conversion kit? Being honest I don’t know how to drive manual, which is why I’m sticking with automatic trans until I learn. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
@@Diabetic_Deity a340 is a much stronger trans than the a650, we were limited with how much power we can put down because of the a650e. But in saying so, you will also need to run a trans computer to support the a340, its the only limiting factor for our build also
Awesome build! Do you possibly have a full parts list? Thanks!
Thank you!! We are working on making a full parts list video as we speak ! Coming soon 🤟

Thanks Yamaha*
The best 👍
Thank you for this Descriptive Video? Is there an order or specific way the rings are installed on to the piston, the ring gap ? Should they be 15 degrees install ? One at 12 o’clock and the other at 12:15 ?
great videos guys!!! keep them coming..is that the stock is300 inlet manifold your running there? or one off a supra gze vvti? reason being is that the is300 intake crosses over the top of the engine while the supra intake is forward facing
Hey man thank you for the support!! We are sticking with the cross over intake manifold, and making it work to suit out build. Stay tuned for the next video were we will be explaining how its done 💪
Do the valve cover bolts, specifically the middle by the coil packs. Do they go into the engine? I want to drill extract 2 but dont know if metal shavings will go into it
I've always been taught to use appropriate gasket with silicone for the installs... the turbo gasket is a better choice instead of na gasket
correct
The proper gasket to use isn't just based on if its turbo or not, Its chosen based on engine build spec. Different thickness of gaskets will change the compression ratio and squish/quench. It also depends on rod/piston size and if too much surface material was shaved off the head or block. The GE headgasket is plenty stout to make big power
👍
Does the bottom end need to be at TDC before tightening the cams down
Don’t know still do bearing clearances or with acl it’s not a most?
Whats the point of torqing the crank bearings to a specific reading, only to add 90 degrees more?
Nice build! Will be curious to see what boost you can run with a ge head gasket and 272 cams. Looks like you need a forward facing intake manifold to match that treadstone cast manifold. Can’t what to hear it start.
Treadstone manifold works great with stock cross over Intake 👍
Thank you my guy!, This setup should sound killer once its all dialed in 🙌
as Rally Ranch Motorsport said above the cross over intake works perfect with the treadstone cast manifold!! Lots of time and reseach went into this we wanted our build to peice togeather smoothly!
@@AutoMotiv8edHow do I get a list of torques for screwdrivers or screws?
Clearances?
Exxelent video. But i like to know on witch fuel its runs
Thank you sir! This is running on 98RON fuel (Australia petrol)
JZ parts are expensive why not just go full gte bits/parts?... Looking forward to this build
cheers man! we wanted our build to have higher compression than the gte, so that's why we did some mixing and matching to come up with our ideal combo
Thanks for the great vid. How many hours did the whole job take?
Was done over a number of days
I now know exactly what I want to do in life, build 2JZ’s maybe a few LS’s. I am not sure where to start though; I have no one to ask things, no experience, little resources, and lack knowledge. Anyone got any advice? Thanks.
Maybe take up a part time job at your local performance mechanics to learn the ropes
Amazing video! Im looking to get an is300 and i want to do a similar build to this, how much did this cost?
thank you for the support! I will do a full video of how much it cost us from start to finish once our entire build is complete
Your cam setup. 272/278. what camshaft are being used for the ge vvti head. So far I’ve seen 264 272 or 276. Haven’t seen a staggered setup yet. Also is there any modifications needed for the cam’s to be fitted without any issues or problems?
czcams.com/video/XIMaLENWXZ0/video.html
why didn’t you measure the bearing clearance with a micrometer or plastigauge? just curious, this build looks great! 🤙🏼
Was told by the machinist prior to putting it all togeather that it was all within spec
Do you a more details video. With clearance and everything please
Would there be a point to install and mill in oil squirters if the pistons are forged? And how much more HP can you push the engine assuming everything done with the oil quirters added?
unfortunatelly not, oil squirters are not really a make or break on 2JZ's, there plenty going around with over 1000hp and no oil squirters
Were those pistons 86 mm? How was your block still in spec? Did you get it honed and or bored?
Block was only lightly honed, still in spec, and yes they are 86mm
What about the o rings?
Как долго интересно оно проедет без маслофорсунок
Will go for the lofe of the engine
im wanting to build a GE motor but i want to do everything else GTE. i also want to put a T56 trans in the car when i get it. my question is wiring... how will that work...?
you will need to use a aftermarket ecu to control the engine/body wiring. T56 trans will work great, but i advise getting a complete off the shelf kit, as soucing parts on your own to fit t56 may be stressfull
my only question...why are you using the GE head gasket? the GTE gasket is proven to be far more reliable than the GE gasket so why not spent the extra $150 for one?
Got a question does a 2jz-gte crankshaft sensor work on a 2jz-ge
yes it will
Hello is it possible to have all the parts list. And did you guys bore the cylinders bigger or just hone .? Stock ge pistons?
parts list it coming soon, cylinders were just a hone. correct stock ge pistons
czcams.com/video/XIMaLENWXZ0/video.html
Hey, what silicone did you guys use?
hey man its called "Permatex Ultra Grey Rigid High-Torque RTV Silicone", works a treat!
Can a begginer DIY replace their cams, gears, valve springs, timing belt and water pump on a 2JZ-GTE VVTi?
I dont see why not.. my advice is to watch a lot of videos to familiarise yourself with exactly what you want to do, and follow their steps.
Personally we didnt mess with the valves and springs, we had a machine shop fit that all in for us
So the GE VVTi is already having the camshaft sensor from factory on the VVTi head… and you used GE non VVTi stock pistons and not GTE pistons ? Please let me know as my IS300 is in transit to me and I’ll get it soon … I want to do the same turbo build for drift application … so what is your current compression ratio with those pistons 9:1 or even more ? I mean that if you break the timing belt the valves will bend and will screw the whole block + head right ? Or not ? I still can’t understand if the GE VVTi engine will be completely screwed if the timing belt break … from Rad Dan video I realized that the both GTE engines are secured in terms of breaking the timing belt because of the 8.5:1 GTE pistons (and may be the design of the GTE heads) and the GE ones are not secured if timing belt break, right ?
Correct, and correct.
Our Current compression ratio is 9.2:1 as we have used the GTE MLS headgasket with the na non vvti supra pistons.
Basically here is a breakdown to answer your question;
N/A comp is 10:1
Vvti n/a comp is 10.5:1
N/a with tt gasket comp is 9.2:1
Vvti n/a with tt gasket comp is 9.7:1
N/A with tt pistons and n/a gasket comp is 9.0:1
although yes the na engines are interference engines, meaning if belt breaks pistons will colide with valves.
Thats crazy you guys just build it without measuring?
all parts have been measured to spec prior to installation
How much power can handle the ge vvti piston?
Anywhere between 400-500hp with the right fuel
hmm
the angle method you choose for the main bolts is wrong and inaccurate, the proper way is with an angle measure tool
Also the clip opening on the piston wrist pin should never be in the opening gap
What brand reseal kit u used?
Ajusa
Wait the GE CRANK IS 1000HP RATED??
That's correct sir 💪
Is that a Toyota Quantum at the back
lexus is350 f sport
كم تكلفة قطع الغيار
Someone is giving me a free to two Jay-Z engine as part of the deal. Should I ask for the GE or the GTE and it’s a variable valve timing iteration that only was released in Japan.
That's awesome man, my suggestion will be GTE for sure, but of its free they hey anything will be worth it
Can you add the parts list in the description please
i am going to make a whole video on all parts and descriptions very soon!! Stay tuned
czcams.com/video/XIMaLENWXZ0/video.html
How much horror power will it be able to hold?
czcams.com/video/XIMaLENWXZ0/video.html
What turbo manifold is that?
Tredstone log maniford. details in video description
Is nice but it cant be used as a guide as you didnt mention oil O rings on the oil pump and oil pan etc. I didnt watch further.
Hello, so u guys used ge vvti pistons? Are these good for 550/600hp?
Correct sir, this is our ideal goal with plenty of torque response 🙏
@@AutoMotiv8ed Are these HP goals on pump gas or E85?
@@DLANM57 pump gas
What ่s turbo spec?
Aeroflow 6662 .82 rear housing
Who’s Engine bay is this going in nicks or nicks
haha good question, i think its definitely going into nicks 😃
Please send all parts link🙏🙂
czcams.com/video/XIMaLENWXZ0/video.html
how much hp can it make
engine is good for over 800hp
Parts list?

All I needs is 10k
where did you buy the ge pistons?
justjap.com/ brought them in for us, direct from japan
@@AutoMotiv8ed im planning on doing this you think i could get away with doing the rods and pistons with the block still in the car?
oh yeah also, went on the site I couldn’t find them? Any other places you know of?
Y’all skipped the whole part I need to see 🙄
Did the block get bored or was it standard bore?
Standard bore with slight hone
fun fact. never push an aluminum head over head studs.
