In September HP announced the Latex 630 and 630W 64” printers. These new entry level 64” printers are expected to be the best selling Latex printers for sign shops and local print service providers. But what about the rest of the HP Latex family? Are any printers going away? Today we are going take you through the full 54” and 64” HP Latex product offering and help you understand the features of each printer so you can make the best decision for your business.

I know the wide format printing is a relatively small niche with a small customer base, but I'm so glad you guys are doing regular, high quality videos on highlighting wide format printers, plotters and the like. There's really no one else in this segment that reports on these machines with high standards, so thank you for the work you guys do!
P.S. Video quality is top notch. Keep it up guys!
Thank you, @TIPh0enix! We appreciate the positive feedback. If you have any topics you'd like to see us cover, please let us know!
Hello! Tell me how the paint behaves on leather and leatherette. There is interest in printing custom car seat covers. Have these materials been tested and how durable is the print?
With the new 700w, can you print on Polypropenfilm for use in wet outdoor? Can you recomend a pp film that work with that printer. They dont like the heat in previos latex printer.
HP has latex-certified polypropylene films, like this one which is rated for 3-months outdoors - www.itsupplies.com/HP-Everyday-Matte-Polypropylene-60inx200ft-p-D9R31A . More PP films can be found on the HP Media Locator - www.printos.com/ml/#/medialocator
Thanks for video. I'm considering to buy a second hand 310, and planning to make and sell canvasses with that. I'm a total newbie, and a digital designer with a +10 years of experience. I just want to use my hands more and making a canvas, it looks a great entry point for me. I'd like to learn your opinion about this. Thank you.
There are a lot of variables here! We can best help you find the best option to fit your specific needs if you give us a call at 1-800-771-9665 M-F 8am-5pm CST.
Tell me, maybe there is a video in which you can see printing on leather and leatherette with perforation. Printer model 630 W.
Are you located in the United States? We'd be happy to host you in our Chicago Solution Center and we can test different substrates - or reach out and ask for Will - he can work with you to create samples on your leather product if that would be helpful. Our phone number is 1-800-771-9665.
How often would we need to be using the white ink to make it worth the price?
This was one of the main questions that HP solved when designing their white ink print system. HP's White ink system makes it an "on-demand" white ink printer. The recirculatory heads and circulation system allow you to use your printer worry-free when not running the white ink printheads. The white ink simply flows through the recirculatory heads, flows back through the dedicated ink lines, drains into the white ink cartridge, and flows back to the recirculatory heads when white ink is not in use. The white ink printheads are placed in a rotation chamber to keep them fresh. This system Mitigates the risk of owning a white ink printer even if you don't print white all the time.
