- During April 2020, while under COVID-19 quarantine, the music teaching staff of JamSchool (Guelph, ON, Canada) joined forces from the comfort of their home studios to bring you their uncut performances of this classic rock track by The Who, "Baba O'Riley" (1971). With the magic of the internet, and through the tireless efforts of JamSchool Manager, Dan Drysdale, these separate performance videos came together as one collective voice. Proving that even in times of isolation, we can come together while apart, to create something powerful and beautiful. We are in this together.
The track includes performances from Dan Drysdale (Synth, Sequencer, Guitar), James Robertson (Guitar), Steve Richards (Guitar), Audrey Coates (Vocals), Marc Mongrain (Bass, Keys), Nathan Coles (Vocals, lampshade), Alpha Kayondo (Piano), Gabby Santin (Vocals), Samantha Piper (Vocals), Spencer Arn (Drums), Steve Zuccala (Drums), Tyler Bridge (Bagpipes), and Robert Leader (Drums)

Phenomenal Gutsy Effort By These Talented Humans
Look at how many drummers it took to replace Keith Moon
No, they were all just playing a part in the song so everyone was included

I love that you are introducing great musical pieces like this to the youth of today.
i get discouraged with living in Canada sometimes, then this happens, and I'm proud again

Great Sound, James I Finally got hear the Stings!
What a fantastic rendition of such an awesome tune!
That was fantastic group effort. Congrats to you all.
I would love to see a video on how you actually put one of these together and manage getting everything in exact sync.
That being said, awesome work! Love the addition of bagpipes!
Syncing is a challenge. I created a backing track to a click and asked each performer to track the entire song. Then it's just a matter of nudging the clips into the right spot
Perhaps a video tutorial is in order...
What a gem of a jam! One of my top 100 all-time songs.
Love this, would like to feature it on my dance break at the end of my show. #cultofthehummingbird
Emocionante!
Got the Skunk Baxter look down. Bagpipes were a nice touch. Needs more cowbell.
all that AND bagpipes???!!!
Very good rendition and much better than Stand By Me done by all those so called celebrities!
way better cover than Pearl Jam 's version
Bottom right drummer needs to have cymbals removed due to overuse.
well, except for the musicianship, the singing and the presentation... that sucked. in other words, that was really GOOD!
The singer at 2:03 isn’t meant for this song. Need a man with a strong voice.
Gee thanks for weighing in.
@@dandrysdale4414 no problem.
@@dandrysdale4414 that voice is far too weak for that part.
This is a cluster fuck.
Sorry, not sorry.
