I was listening to this music not too long ago, and this came to my head. A little something for the SkekSa x UrSan lovers out there! ♥
Notes:
- I know it's very Out Of Character, i barely know the characters (haven't read the books yet), but i just wanted to make a cute animatic.
- I went with a very simplistic design for SkekSa (where are her secondary set of arms? Lol i dunno) and my own design for UrSan.
- I like to draw the Mystics very round and fat, contrasting with the Skeksis' boney body.

This is cute. I wish we could see more Dark Crystal. I still cannot believe that they canceled Age of Resistance. I hope we can eventually see the Great Division of the UrSkeks on screen, and when one of the Skeksis hits the Crystal and breaks the shard off of it.

Skekgra is the perfect fit for Gobber in this scene, Great art, Excellent show of motion, and Brilliant use of characters and how they act. 9/10 could only better if there was more ;p

How I imagine SkekSa talked to The Heretic and The Wonderer:
SkekSa: Ursan hates me.

SkekSa: I know. I know Ursan doesn't hate me. I'm afraid what Ursan might say. And I shouldn't be afraid.
Heretic: Fear is Normal. Fear is life. Fear is everything. Only idiots are not afraid! I should know. *Cackles*
SkekSa: ... *sigh*
Urgoh: Try to... talk... to...
Heretic: Argh!! So slow! Hurry up and get to the point!

Sorry I normally only make animations of my fave ships when i have the time for it. My to do list is quite full with other dark crystal and undertale animations tho.
Dark needs light, light needs dark, good needs evil, evil needs goods, heaven needs hell, hell needs heaven, shadow needs bright, bright needs shadow, life needs death, death needs life I just wish everyone all over the world would understand how these two of the most important element needs each other.

I LOVE how this has no dislikes, it's just so sweet and I know it's not Canon but I love it, the idea that there is a longing in more than just SkekGrah and UrGoh makes me happy but also sad that something this Fantastic was canceled on Netflix, I would have loved to see how the duo were portrayed on screen

Man I love the dark crystal miss skekgra tbh I'd love to see skekgra and urgoh have a hug before returning to thra man they shouldn't have canceled the dark crystal age of resistance
After seeing this I've decided to make my own fanfiction series about the Skeksis and urRu but different stories and with crazy and fun adventures stuff like when the gourmand and the cook tried to catch a little critter for dinner or when the hunter challenges the general and the garthim master for who gets to be the strongest. Also the Skeksis and urRu will have different history, for instance the urRu are gonna be a wise and fun race with voices of reasons and guidance led by Su the master along with the counselors, and for the Skeksis are gonna be a vicious and cruel race with brute strength led by So the emperor along with lords. These two races are related and descendants to their ancestors to a wise and sentient race, the urSkeks.
So what you think about my fanfiction? Is it cool and if not than I understand, let me know.
P.s: to avoid copyright, the urRu and Skeksis will have different body design like making them looked more like anthropomorphic long neck lizards.
My own version of the urRu: having a bell shaped body, non secondary arms, have stripped patterns on the tails but no tuff of fur at the end, two toed feet and the only clothing and accessories they were is vest while some have amulets and still retaining there spiral markings on their snouts and looking younger, eye pupil glows in the dark.
My own version of the Skeksis: having the same body design like the mystics but having tadpole like tails, fined spines of their backs, non secondary arms, two clawed feet and the only clothing and accessories they were is coats and looking younger, eyes glows completely in the dark.
My own version of urSkeks: looked more like a four armed urRu but at the tip of it's snouts has beaks and wearing white robes with spiral and rituals markings on it and all of them are grayish purple colored and have stripped patterns at the tip of their tails.

What makes this sad is that this very well could have happened! The two weren't very different from eachother, they had a love of the sea and the Gelfling, were kind and humble and generous. And while some aspects differ, the Wanderer and the Heretic prove that the UrRus and SkekSis can live in harmony. They are literally two halves of the same coin.
Exactly. The UrRu and Skeksis show that there cannot be light without dark, good without evil, or the other way around. Much like Darth Revan in Star Wars. He’s also a perfect example of the balance that’s needed for life to exist.

Please i want that dreamwork will buy Dark Crystal as his formerly rival Disney bought Star Wars because star wars and dark crystal were similar and because star wars the clone wars and dark crystal age of resistence were cancelled by cartoon network and netflix and of disney plus helped to finish Star Wars the Clone Wars it means that Dreamworks will continued dark crystal age of resistence and to finish especially. Please Dreamworks help us! Save Dark Crystal age of resistence until we want to find out about that Rian and Deet are actually Jen's parents as we find out that Rex and Ahsoka had finished their last mission on Mandalore in star wars rebels. They're Skeksis and Mystics, these creatures have no sex. But both SkekSa and UrSan use she/her pronouns.
