Love these videos, Raisa. You are so inspiring, and I speak as a woman in her 40s- i wish i had been more sensible and organised with money when i was in my 20s/30s.
Girl! As a 30-something who is very much into personal finance and fashion (especially more low-key luxury brands), I feel like I struck gold finding your channel haha! I just subscribed. 💜
I'm 30 in 2 weeks , lets stay motivated to save as much possible, my biggest fear is hospital and medical bills ..... ugh omg Lord have mercy on us women 🙏🙏🙏
Nice goals, net worth progression, and I can tell you’re going to continue to be successful with finances. All that said, I think $15,000 for a watch is absurd. Even for your 30th. I have a net worth exceeding $1M and wouldn’t dream of spending that on a watch (or anything else other than an investment, car or vacation). Especially with consumer debt and underfunded emergency fund. Just my opinion.
@@raisamartin$15K isn’t going to sink you, I just wouldn’t buy another one lol. All in all, you’re doing really well, and that’s something to be proud of!
Great video, thanks for posting it! It's funny, I work in a crypto exchange but have 80% of my assets in stocks. So seeing your stocks soar by 100% really made my day, especially compared to your crypto's -40% performance. I've followed your account, not just for the financial insights but also because your name seems Indonesian! lol. Keep up the good work!
Good on you for posting this and taking personal finance seriously. I didn't start tracking my NW till 2009 when I was 31. Since that time, it has increased 7x. It's fun to track - though I usually only update mine annually once on 12/31.
So happy I found your channel as a self-proclaimed budget/saving junkie myself with meaningful splurges and investments in between! Love all of your videos, how you edit them and all the details.
Because the time ist gone , If you waste It without investing. It never comes Back. It dosnt Matter If your debt ist payed a year later .. but your Investment will grow in this year. If you dont have a emergency Fund but a emergency you need a debt to pay for the emergancy.. that ist stupid. Bild your emergancy Fund for the Case of an emergancy... Sorry i am Not an english speeker
Good question! I think I have a decent amount of money in my emergency fund right now so I’m putting more emphasis on investments and retirement. Although it’s the same amount going into investments and em fund every month ($200 bi weekly). The retirement is auto deducted from my paycheck before govt taxes and my employer matches my contribution so to me it makes sense to do that. If I was just starting out with only a small emergency fund then that would be my #1 goal. It totally depends on the person and where they are at in their personal finance journey.
impressive. keep saving and investing. you are doing a terrific job at age 30.

Haha thank you so much! I've always thought my name was Russian and never heard it being related to Indonesian so I learned something new today! 😀

Wow!! You are doing well. You have almost double what I had at your age. You'll be a millionaire easily within 10 years!!
@3:50 I am curious. I have a roth ira, but i don't know much about the other forms of investing i.e. dividend, etc. So yeah :)
Hi, why do you prioritize investing and retirement over emergency fund and paying off debts? Curious, because i do the opposite.

@@jukna83 well you have a point, but what she has in emergency fund is quite low and debt is so insignificant why not just pay it and forget about it

Love that you are a Vancouverite❤. Interested in what etfs and stocks you invest in. Do you put your emerg funds in a high interested account? Type?
Yes! I have my Emergency Fund with Wealthsimple which is 4% interest :)
