Walk: Cochrane MRT Station to MyTown Shopping Centre & IKEA

Join me as we discover the walking distance from Cochrane MRT Station to MyTown Shopping Centre and IKEA Cheras. Do bring along an umbrella in case of rain as there are presently no covered walkways after the MRT exit.
MRT commuters alighting at the Cochrane MRT station have to cross the main road in order to reach the mall which can be quite dangerous especially with small children. MyTown’s information counter staff shared that the connecting walkway would be opened only in late September 2017 which I sincerely hope they do.
In regards to Cochrane MRT Station, it is located at Jalan Cochrane, nestled within Bulatan Pandan and Jalan Peel with IKEA Cheras and MyTown Shopping Mall in it's vicinity. The station has four underground levels, with three accessible to the public, namely the Upper Concourse Level, Lower Concourse Level and the Platform Level.

Underground connection from Cochrane MRT to MyTown/IKEA has already been opened as of January 2018. Fully air conditioned too.
