    The moment when you sit next to him with your shin in his armpit, isnt it better to do that move standing, because you have less control this way and he can come up?? (like on 4:11, why sit down? Cant you just go form standing pressure into the armbar?)

      Noah yes you can do that as well. Just a different variation.

    What's to stop them from sitting up and then stacking into you? That's the problem I've had with it the few times I've been able to attempt.

      Knee goes into the solar plexus. If they can sit up, that means that you aren't distributing your weight properly.

      @@Pric3less1 I assume he does not mean the knee on belly, but the transition to the armbar. I also have this problem that the opponent can easily sit up when I lean back to finish the armbar. Didnt try it yet, but having more weight on my left ankle pushing down his should might help fixing the sitting up issue.
