- With the recent buff to gambit, I figured I would give him a try inside of a discard deck! Today we playing with a Wong Gambit deck that has the potential to WIPE OUT your opponent!

Actually the best combo you can do is wong on turn 3 (zabu or psylock) wave on 4, onslaught on wong turn 5 and finally mystique and gambit on wong. That way gambit will play exactly 12 times, wiping out the entire board of the opponent, making an easy win

What's cool about this deck is if you pull off the combo, it literally doesn't matter what your opponent plays or has played. Throw invisible woman in and play wong gambit and Odin, and you have a solid sleeper deck

My version of this deck has been: Kitty, Wolverine, Zabu, Swarm, Gambit, Wong, Absorb, Black Panther, Doom, Hela, Hellicarrier, and Infinaut. The idea was to have options for wins in case Gambit didn't come out. It's been doing well, but it might still need tweaking
I found this deck stupid fun to just watch the fireworks clear the whole board. I did a Negative deck for it, though, since Gambit was a 3/1.
the bug with the invisible card being pulled from the deck/swapped has been happening a lot since the recent update, cant even see the card i lockjaw sometime its just immediately invisible and unclickable

Sadly I got the feeling that I always queue up against cosmo when I want to pull off the Wong/Gambit combo. Second Dinner cannot tell me that this is a coincidence haha
I used to have mystique to copy Wong to another location. But with Hazmat, B.Panther and Zola(hit Sera), increasing my win conditions and just recently added Swarm for Gambit's update.
Echo will help counter those cosmo plays, but will leave one less card for the wong lane.

I’ve hit turn 4 Wong, turn 5 Magik on another lane, Turn 6 Onslaught on Wong lane, then turn 7 Mystique and Gambit with Swarm in hand. Doesn’t always hit but it’s hilarious seeing no cards on the opps field.
first game i played this on i got full combo with dracula and morbius down with onslaught citadel. He had armor down and still got destroyed i killed everything but one card on the other lanes
Still haven’t unlocked absorbing man, any tips which card is okay to substitute for absorbing man??
this deck is awesome but I can't shake the feeling that content creators get better in match draws than the rest of us 😂😭 literally every game I played with this deck I wouldn't draw any of the necessary cards in any necessary order. literally just useless combos one after the other. hopefully I can shake the bad luck or whatever is rigged against my account lol. great vid as always.

I think Wong is just inherently vulnerable and inconsistent. I've done maybe 10 games with this deck, and I've been hit with Cosmo a couple times, Spider-Man (on the Wong location) a couple times, and Magneto just now to swipe Wong away from the discards being played on it.
Maybe the way to do it is to add Invisible Woman, since most people still don't see to be carrying Enchantress post-buff. Or, focus on making Zabu/Mystique happen so you can do Wong-Gambit-Absorbing Man on the last turn, or Wong-Discard with Dracula out for a nice payoff. But either way I think we need more sneakiness to protect Wong in this deck.

FYI, that invisible’ card glitch has recently been affecting most of my games when LockJaw or Jubilee are played. Annoying AF!

@@him2674 you play echo after Wong you knob. It prevents your opponent from using cosmo then you can gambit absorb or gambit Odin with no repercussions outside of magento to mess you up. In that case you're playing the priority game

Has anyone else been having buggy behavior with Jubilee and Lock Jaw?
I have had 2 games today where Jubilee pulls an invisible card. In the case where it pulled an on reveal, the reveal never triggered. There were no on reveal cancellations on location.
With Lockjaw, I swapped out a card, but nothing rotated in. I had 3 cards in deck. I am aware of the Lockjaw bug when you rotate out a destroyed card (devs need to fix this ish already), but this was not that. Player had nothing to destroy my cards.
Yes, I am obviously playing a Lockjaw, High Evo deck =).
oops i just left a comment relevant to this before reading yours, but yes im experiencing the same thing and the card spulled from lockjaw went invisible and didnt do any card text effects about 50% of the time

Edit: deck is Garbo in my opinion. Just went 1-5 with it. Rarely do you get the cards that you need and locations can easily fuck it up.
Yip deck does not cut it. He edited his wins only into this video. When you eventually pull off a slick combo and destroy the opponent's side, it just dont feel good because you had ro many losses before that.
I think that's mostly true if you're trying to pull of the wombo combo. But more often than not youll want to play it as a standard discard deck. Absorbing man funny enough makes the deck a little more consistent imo. You can copy Gambit for another destroy which feeds into Morbius and can trigger Swarm or Onslaught. You can use him after Lady Sif to double up on hitting the Apoc.
But to be fair I feel any time I first play a deck I grab off a content creator I always have issues in the beginning because I'm just not used to operating the deck yet, especially if its of an archetype I don't already play.
Also no disrespect to Molt, I do think he is a great content creator, this deck just didn’t work for me

@ROFLWAFFLELAWL4 The problem with trying to play it as a dicard deck is that the card draws are inconsistent because you never get the right combo cards. If you happen to get the correct combo cards for a discard deck, then you have a strong counter from your opponent or the locations screw you.
I played 20 games last night. Got 2 gambit combos that wiped the opponent side. And 3 wins with the discard option only because this time, the location actually favored me. However, the opponent retrearwd because they know how big dracula was going to get and the amount of swarms i had.
Wolverine, imo dont belong in a discard deck. I play the discard archetype in general, and i never put Wolverine in my deck because he just ruined winning locations at times.
wolverine in this deck is worse than collector. Maybe swap them out?

I'd argue that with Collector you need to drop him early while Wolverine could stay in your hand and essentially be a free drop if hit by your discard. But mostly for consistency. If you pull a Wong combo with Gambit to hit enough Swarms final turn then yeah Collector would be the better play even late turns, but just for consistency I feel like the Wolverine is more reliable while Collector needs conditions met.
The amount of times I've had cards arriving backwards, completely fucking up the flow in which I should play (Zabu, Wong, Mystique and then both discard boys) is waaay too annoying.
I'm waiting for Zabu in the shop, but in the meantime what can I use instead please?

This deck trash shuffling was always horrible that it never allowed me to make any big plays.
Amazing deck that took mee from 33 (I’m a crap player) to 25 without a single win. Combo is amazing but never came off and many locations also hinder this deck. I was beaten by vanilla patriot without even a chance to match his power output.
Honest question, isnt Swarm actually a really bad card for this Deck? He might seriously risk anything for your Dracula if you fail to play him. Arent there any better cards to replace him with? I mean even Medusa would be more decent.
You need swarm in case you don't draw Apoc. He helps gambit and absorbing man go off as many times as possible in the last turn.
Why would you leave a 3-power card in your hand so Morbius gets +2? Just play the free 3 power on the location lmao
As soon as gambit got nerfed i stopped playing my deck. It was already a difficult combo to draw into correctly. Now it is even harder.
Dracula is a waste, if gambit hits swarm you played a 4/3

This deck is terrible. I had 25 matches today, and not once have i drawn the right cards for a combo. I either dont draw Wong OR Gambit and Dracula OR Apocalypse. It just does not work for me. I have not been able to pull of a wong, gambit combo because i just dont draw the right cards and end up having such little power on the board.
The regular Wong, BP and Zola combo is absolutely fantastic compared to this deck because you only need 3 cards for the combo to work. In your deck, you need way too many cards for the combo to work.
