Yea. It would be nice if there was a little peppier engine available, but overall the Corolla is a 10 and the civic is a 6 or 7. The civic center console to dash destroys knee room for taller people.

I think Toyota hit the nail on the head pretty good with this one. It may not be for everyone but man it's way nicer than the outgoing model which was basically a 10 year old plus design underneath. I'm taking delivery of my XSE hatch today. I'm excited, my first Toyota.
How do you like your hatch so far? I bought an SE in December, I was rear ended in February. The car did it's job, I walked away. I liked it a lot, I got the same car again later in February.
@@kevina2052 I love it. There are only a few dislikes and they are so far minor. Not much interior cubby or storage space compared to Civic, and not a huge fan of piano black. The only major gripe I suppose is lack of Android Auto still. Other than that I am averaging good fuel economy, the seats are incredible, and its a nice place to be for my commute. My XSE is blizzard white pearl and I absolutely love the way it looks with this paint. What are your overall thoughts on your Corolla hatch?

@@SomeBotOfficial Great! 71k km and I've only had one issue and it only just started. The right front audio channel is absent. The rest of the car has been flawless.
I own a '17 Corolla SE. Love my car. It has the jeweled vertical accent lighting. My Corolla SE is a total dog (no juice) but my Corolla still looks cool and is the best for driving from point A-to-B (to and from work).

The Corolla has come a long way. It's really elegent inside and outside and it looking really interessting and good. Powerful engine for it's class and the price is still reasonable.

Great little car, emphasis on little. Really wanted one but adults dont fit well in the back so I went with the 2020 Camry instead. Also, bigger trunk and 8 speed instead of CVT.

I have the 2020 se in this color. I could not justify paying 3K more fore the same engine and same trim. The XSE has a better stereo, a sunroof and blind spot indicators. on the side mirrors. If it would have say
205 hp instead of 169hp, then maybe I would have gotten the XSE. This color is only available in SE and XSE models. I pretty much have the same car for 3K less.

Best Corolla ever. I think the only problem will be the $25k+ price tag. That's kind of unheard of for a Corolla. You can get a WRX for $26.5k...

Notice is has bigger hump in back then the older model and so it seems a little more cramped then before
Honda Civic did the same thing.
It is slightly smaller on the inside than the previous gen.
Suggestions for Toyota: (1) Get rid of the blue stitching; it looks cheesy, and (2) put an air vent in the back of the center console to heat/cool the rear seat passengers.
Blue interior is an option.

CVT is a bit turning off to me.
You can get a 6-speed manual in the SE trim level. This CVT is a newer version with a physical first gear.

The corola is not longer a cheap vehicle. when i bought my first car I bought the highest tier corola the 2004 corolla sport and the total was 20,500$. now the best corolla model is almost 30,000$

Only 3 complaints I perfer a manually operated parking brake and my infotainment screen intergrated into the dashboard I see that tablet as a distracting cost cutting measure. I also wish there was a charging port for the rear seat passengers none of these are absolute deal breakers

Miguel Ircontar the hatchback has less back passenger room, no sun roof, ugly looking fake embedded dual exhaust tips, but it does come with fog lights instead of the accent lights
