🔎 Bakgrund och dom: Den svenska influencern Melina Göransson, 25 år gammal, har blivit dömd till villkorlig dom och böter på 90 000 kronor samt en företagsbot på 50 000 kronor. Åklagarens yrkande om näringsförbud avslås. Under COVID-19-pandemin började influencern streama innehåll från sina resor via Twitch, vilket ledde till att Skatteverket uppmärksammade hennes aktiviteter på sociala medier och intäkter från internet.
Efter att ha anlitat en revisor, registrerade influencern sin verksamhet för F-skatt och moms i mars 2022. Hon skickade även in moms- och inkomstdeklaration för 2020 under sommaren samma år. Tingsrätten konstaterar att bokföringen för 2020 skedde för sent, och noterar att influencern hade inkomster på cirka 567 000 kronor från sin streamingverksamhet det året.
Tingsrätten anser att influencern, trots att hon initialt såg sin verksamhet som en hobby, borde ha insett att den krävde formell bokföring och beskattning. Dock fanns inte tillräckligt med bevis för att hon agerat med likgiltighet gentemot sin bokföringsskyldighet, utan snarare av oaktsamhet.
Influencern, som flyttade till USA under perioden, var oenig med åklagaren om huruvida hon bedrev bokföringspliktig verksamhet i Sverige under 2021. Hon hävdade att hennes besök i Sverige var för personliga ändamål och att hon betalade skatt i USA för det året.
Trots att hon var registrerad för F-skatt och moms i Sverige, och folkbokförd här till juni 2023, bedömde tingsrätten att hennes näringsverksamhet under 2021 inte hade tydliga kopplingar till Sverige. Därför ansågs hon inte bokföringsskyldig i Sverige för det året.
Som ett resultat dömdes influencern för bokföringsbrott av normalgraden, till villkorlig dom och böter, och inte för grovt bokföringsbrott som åklagaren hade yrkat. Hon var även under reseförbud under en period på 2023.

Just for any american listening to this recording and reading the subtitles, the word "divorce" comes up a few times during this talk, and its not correctly applied. They were forced apart due to Covid, not a break in their romantic relationship.

It's not a debate. She got convicted, and for the record, she doesn't even know what a job is. She even admits it.. (I don't really know what the law says about that). A grown up woman who doesn't know the difference between a job and a hobby..

is the prosecutor a bit slow or is she trying to get a specific answer when she asks like 5 different times "but why didn't you tell the tax authorities" and the answer is always "I told robin and I trusted he'd do it"

@@Chris-il5im Look up the video Destiny Is Losing His Wife. Destiny says, "We've paid all the taxes, everything, for the last 3 years in Sweden." Another quote, "For whatever reason the prosecutor is now considering insisting her for fraudulent books." He implies they did nothing wrong and everything was by the book.
Look up the video, Destiny Talks About Melina's Tax Fraud Case, Chances Of Her Being Released Back To America. Destiny thinks it's bullshit that influencers (he's referring to Melina as the reddit post refers to Melina) scamming taxes is a crazy concept. Destiny goes on to say, "of all the 1099 work influences have to do it the best because we do all of our transactions online." Clearly this isn't true given this trial. Another quote, "Melina paid her taxes year over year over year, but I told her not to pay the most recent year because we paid taxes in US and the US and Sweden has a tax treaty which is supposed to avoid double taxation."
