Dude! I've been searching for awhile of someone demonstrating how to do viking punchmarking like this. I always did it with one heavy solid strike of my hammer. Never once considered using multiple shallow hits to "chisel" the design in the way you do. I will definitely have to try this. Would it be too much to ask for more details about the punching process? Or perhaps a video? I'm really intrigued.
