Spring snapper Bay of Islands

Fishing for snapper before the spawning season with my son Guy. we used a mixture of softbaits, micro jigs and micro jigs with bait. Bait tended to catch smaller fish. Guy catches a nice one at the end and we caught enough fish for the family for a week.
