What is the weather like in March?

It's not too hot in March. Day time can be a little hot. The temperature will be 26 to 36 degrees. But the weather is pleasant in March month.
early mornings and evenings still tend to be fairly pleasant. Moreover, as most of the animals are out and about in search of water, it can be a good time to visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and observe wildlife.
