Best view of Lake Geneva? 15th stage of the Jura CrestTrail

- The 15th stage of the Jura High Trail leads across beautiful meadows and forests past a kilometer-long network of dry stone walls. On the Crêt de la Neuve, you have a view over the whole of Lake Geneva and can see both Lausanne and Geneva. The starting point of the stage on the Col du Marchairuz can only be reached by bus at weekends. The end is at a train station in St-Cergue.

Thank you Benjamin for another excellent video. I realise how you got home from St Cerque. We see you waiting on a station platform where trains stop every 30 minutes. But how did you get to Col du Marchairuz?
Thanks. To Col du Marchairuz there is a bus from Allaman or Le Brassus on the weekends. Best, Benjamin
@@TheSwissHiker Many thanks. But the poor service is in marked contrast to the at least hourly 7-days-a-week service operating on most Swiss bus routes.
@@Fan652w yes, when I hiked to there during the week (stage 14), I actually had to hitchhike to get down from Col du Marchairuz.
