90’s models are the epitome of modelling. They are legendary. And they should be in their 50s now ? Still looking incredible.
From what I know of some, they are in their 45s or older.
Mid 40's to early 50's. Make me remember "Fashion File" on VH1. Back when they played music! We still looking good!!!!

A few of these 90s Supermodels never left the runway. I would love to see more of the Black and Brown girls also back. Brandi Quinones, Beverly Peele, and Roshumba epitomized the 90s Supermodel too. It wasn't just Tyra and Naomi.

The Off White ™ show was very nostalgic, they brought a lot of models from the 90's!
They still have star power and a presence that will eclipse any model who is not a true model. Honestly women and men who are older are not only more credible in very expensive items as in real life most young people can't afford them, but they carry them better and give them the personality needed. I don't even understand what a teen has to do wearing haute couture trying to sell it to the people who can afford it. The supermodels should just come back full time until real new supermodels can take over.
The new 'supermodels' has to start somewhere.
But yeah I agree, some of this design needs models with personality; and not just walking clothes rack. Sadly there are few of today's models who can give that satisfaction.
@@kamuigrey4597 And I also agree with you, they have to start somewhere. Matter of fact the first supermodel originated decades earlier. However when we all refer to supermodels we talk about the almost magical era that saw the rise of the supermodel as superstar and thus far it has not happened again even with Gisele, who in reality originated in the 90's herself and rose to prominence at the time the group of supermodels had mostly retired which is the only reason why Gisele happened at all. But while there have been supermodels who achieved prominence and some stardom through the decades, long before the era of the supermodels, the supermodel phenomenon remains a late 80's through the 90's and its composed by a very small group of people, the rest are top models, even the ones I like personally like the blonde with class Karen Mulder. Its not just about the girls but the entire era.
We need Tyra Banks and Yasmeen Ghauri on the runway! Those 2 with Naomi had the best runway walks! A lot of attitude and they had their own unique way of walking

No, Tyra was way too bouncy and she never seem like she had control until the later years. I always felt like she was in a teeny bop commercial. I’m with you on Yasmeen and Naomi though!

I think because she is booked for more shows in general, she is not modeling just for Balenciaga, and the others did.
But to be honest, I'm not sure why Nicole Kidman and othe models were called out, I'm pretty sure they don't know marketing strategy plans, etc. Kim K is the only one, who can be called out, because she is the face of the brand, but even that is streachy, because I'm not sure she did know anything about the marketing beforehand and probably the contract termination fees would have been pretty heavy.

It's crazy how many names of the supermodels I remember from the 90s but couldn't tell you one name from this era.
LOL...I guess so My Friend..because there REALLY aren't any.. truth be told. Most of the productions are like episodes of The Walking Dead..Very little Spark Energy or Effort...Some of what I've seen.. You'd slap training wheels on these poor little girls and hope for the best!!! SMH...No Offense but NO Comparison!!!

God bless ALL of the 90s girls. Man everyone of course looks a lot older and a little heavier but time and gravity waits for NO ONE. Doesn't matter how the walk was back then its a little slower now. Lesson learned for all of yall that say I will never get old. Trust and believe its gonna happen to us ALL. But the combined stories that these women and men can tell you.......the book they could write......man it would be something to read. Before its too late tho I would love to see Yasmeen Ghauri Gisele Bundchen and Karen Molder stalk the runways one more time.
