Am just learning the miracle benefits of neem oil and have just started using it. I have acne and eczema combination skin and i have already seen improvements in my skin. I can literally feel it working on my skin as it has a bit of a tingle when i apply it. You are right when u said it smells like ass😂😂. When i started using it i used to apply vapour rub to my nostrils just to get pass the smell but now i have gotten so use to it. The smell is not a bother to me anymore.

People can also sometimes use neem powder mixed with water if they have a skin problem that does not necessarily need to be oil based in the treatment.... much less smell .
I have both. Just started using the oil tonight on my skin and hair. Does smell bad just hope my husband can stand it as I'm game for trying just about anything that gives great results.

How do you know when it's gone bad? I bought some that got packed away and just rediscovered it. It expired per the bottle in 2020, it smells nasty--as you say--but is it supposed to smell like... engine oil?? I remember I got it for all the raves about it, but... I dunno.

Is it supposed to be chunky? I just bought a bottle of organic neem oil and cracked it open and it was chunky and smells bad. Googled it and found this video so I figured maybe if it normally smells bad it's also supposed to be pulpy too. Any answers would be great!

I was very optimistic about buying the oil today but now am kind of disappointed if the smell is horrible, but perhaps I could mix with other oils like argan, almond, carrot and black seed oil to make the smell less awful cos it's winter here and I need to keep my body mosturized 😍😍
Try tea tree or cinnamon leaf essential oil. Lemongrass is also good in my book.

Opening first bottle of Neem oil and first impression is peanut butter and garlic and some kind of warm spice. Not nasty at all! Loll. To the commenters who say "soul food smell", yeah, I can see what you mean.
After a minute on my hands, the peanut smell fades and the overall scent is now more like fresh cut grass - with some of that wild onion cut into it. Still not nasty, at least to me.
Interestingly, post-CV 😉 my taste and smell senses have been through hell and back again, and are not the same as before. But most smells that remain altered smell worse than before, or even unbearable, not better.
So, it's a very individual thing! Peanut oil and cut grass, my final (personal) answer! 😂

You spent more time lon the smell - try explaining about the benefits, how to use neem oil, and how to mix with other oils, proportions! Otherwise you are good, love your efforts and enthusiasm , drop the knife, hold out some of the oil with your applying it instead x

Hey! Great video! After watching Sadhguru talk about the benefits of neem oil, I stumbled upon this entertaining and honest video. I just ordered some straight from India so I know it's gonna smell real bad but work so well. I hope the almond oil I bought along with it helps keep the stank away.
