TheBus is the transportation system here in Honolulu, Hawaii on the island of Oahu. It is ran and operated by both Oahu Transportation Services and Honolulu County. TheBus has two yards for the fleet which is Pearl City Manana and Kalihi-Palama. TheBus currently holds 480+ buses and 115 routes. It has been established and opened to the public in the year of 1971 and has been running since then.
Route 511 and 512, formerly Route 72, is one of the circulator routes in TheBus system. The route services Schofield Barracks heading down westbound to terminate at Whitmore Village. This route services Wahiawa Town, Wahiawa Transit Center, and Neighborhoods of Wahiawa. The route runs from 5am through 7pm on weekdays and 8am through 7pm on weekends. Route 511 interlines with Route 51 on select weekday trips and Route 512 interlines with Route 52 on select weekday trips. Route 511 and 512 is based off the Pearl City Manana bus facility.
