I honestly thought this was the perfect fight to retire for Gaethje. This war with Holloway, and the end sequence, and he always said he only has a few wars left. That was a war and half. I think Justin will possibly not be the same guy after that much damage at 36 years of age. I dont want to see him go out like Tony. After the Fiziev win he said he was making one more title run and then he is done, and now is talking about fighting again. I guess fighters are just hooked to fighting, wich I can understand completely. I think if he gets finished in his next fight he should retire though, even if its not a war. It shouldnt take a 4-7 loss streak for someone to retire. Gaethje would retire on top now with that banger of a fight against Holloway. Went out on his shield and fought with a broken nose etc.
