Strickland has five US 9-Ball titles & three World Billiard 9-Ball titles. Efren Reyes has one US 9-Ball title and only one World Billiard 9-Ball title. Does anyone really believe that Strickland believed that Reyes was the best pool player of all time after destroying Reyes in head to head competition during the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s. In his prime their was only one player that could defeat Strickland and that was Earl Strickland.
Efren beat Earl in both color of money marchese, and they Were both long races. Efren is a better All-around player than Earl is. Efren has major tournament wins in every pool game from 14.1 to one pocket. Earl is without a doubt one of the best of all time, but he isn’t better than Efren. Earl himself said so. To quote Earl. “I’ve played them all and he’s the greatest”

Efren 138 wins tp Earls 44...way more pool played...and certainly in a more controlled fashion...one thing you cant take away from Earl is his break....one of the best out there....but some seriously atrocious manners..the MacEnroe of billiards...
Do you really think that Earl would admit Efren was better if he didn’t truly believe it? Efren is the better All- around player. Besides the break, there’s nothing Earl does better than Efren. Efren has more titles in other pool games than Earl. Everyone has their own opinions, but when Earl himself says Efren is the greatest that speaks for itself!

@@bgjb-r1499 people see efren make all those amazing kicks and banks and think it means he is great. That shot selection is why he never wins tournaments, he could win gambling matches because when he missed he could just reload and play another set.

very true Mike. I wish we had snooker tables here in Ohio. I've never played but I watch all the matches. I don't understand why people don't like it here. Hopefully someday I'll get to play.
