Great. I have a worksheet and at the end I have a drop down list with: "In Stock and Out of Stock:. I want to highlight the row when I select "Out of Stock".. Will I be able to do that?
Hi, You can do it using Conditional Formatting with Formulas. • Example: the dataset range is A1: F100. • Column#E contains the drop-down list. 1. Select range A2:F100. 2. Home tab --> Conditional Formatting drop-down --> New Rules A dialog box will open. 3. In the dialog box --> in the top half --> select the last option: "Use a formula to determine which cells to format". 4. In the bottom half . . type: = $E2 = "Out of Stock" 5. Click on the Format button to apply formatting. 6. Click O.K. . . and O.K. Hope, this helped.
