Gorgeous woman, and spectacular performance!
THIS WAS HER FIRST MOVIE SHE WAS SO PRETTY AND CUTE WOW
A pure crystal of divine thought in modernism.
Right, so in modernism, now in postmodernism we should put more value on modernism than ever! )))))))
Saw this on tcm the other day wow
Love it, Jim!!! She was such a cutie--one of my favorites. And Harry Bailey, too! Thanks so much for sharing this terrific clip, as always you brightened my day. :)
So glad you liked it! Yes, an eye on her and Ms. Rutherford (Polly Benedict)! Thanks so much for watching! The actresses back then were so lovely and attractive, I think.

A fun picture with poor Andy getting in one dilemma after another. I never heard of Kathryn Grayson until seeing this picture; now I'll never forget her. She also sings two arias in this picture. Coloratura is a term I never knew but heard in several operas--blessed with a dear friend to took me to the Met operas. Kathryn sings with such ease I love this particular song as I love the orchestral arrangements. A great band arrangement I can never ignore.
I'm so glad you liked it, Heather! Yes, Todd Karns and the lovely (Cutie) Ann Rutherford. Wonderful movie, I think. Thanks so much for watching the video! Ms. Grayson sure had a set of pipes! Take Care my Fiend!

Interesting how Kathryn Grayson here seems too much to Deanna Durbin in every sense, and how she became much more attractive when she developed her own style not only as a performer but as a woman as well.
