Colors on phones this year have been kind of pale and pastel, which I personally love lighter colors, like light blue, lavendar, and even that new pink eye phone caught my eyes. Which color do you prefer this year? Something else I didn't see you talk about was battery life. How has your battery life compared. D2D says his has been sub par. Marques is saying his is excellent.
Appreciate the comment! After having used all three colours I would say my favourite was definitely white, however the black is always a classic! My battery life has been great. I can’t say how long D2D used his unit for, but it definitely adjusts to your usage over the course of a few days. I haven’t had to charge midday at all personally!
Love the focus on the speech recognition. Main reason I have a pixel. I wish the recorder had an edit feature. One of the few things ios has that android doesn’t (at least pixel recorder)

I was really looking forward to going back to android. I currently have iphone 11pro. The google pixel 8/8 pro really had my interest but now hearing that social media apps like instagram don't work that smoothly is changning my mind to wanting to buy any android phone. That's a real bummer that they still have that issue in 2023.

I would assume the social media integration is a update issue because tiktok specifically works beautifully on my pixel 7 but it wasn't always. Pixel phones for whatever reason aren't their best when they launch

Everyone was busy going oooo and aaaaah and not realizing, hey, can't this be used to fake people out? And you didn't say it but this needs a watermark so no one gets framed for something they didn't do LOL I can see that coming out in a movie! Anyway, liked and subscribed!
What do we need the gorilla glass victus for if it can just scratch quite easily? My S23 Ultra scratched the first week I got it and up to now I can't remember how it happened. On the contrary I've been using the Oppo Reno 10 Pro plus naked for over a month there is no mark on it yet. Why do we mind the specs so much that we can even welcome the bad ones?
I have felt it get warm while I was editing some 4k videos but I wouldn’t describe it as hot. Definitely wasn’t anything uncomfortable or worrying in my opinion. And that’s coming from a 15 Pro Max with heat issues 😅

People in this day and age are obsessed with everything fake! Fake representation online and image. Everyone wants to be famous and pumped up ego driven. Some of the photo editing just helps this problem that society has. What’s wrong with natural real photos. Just take a few and surely one is good. We now enter the world that photos don’t necessarily represent the real life anymore. Yes I know photoshop allowed that also but it’s now in the hands of everyday punters. 😂😂
Consistently 7 hours screen on time for me with a lot of CapCut editing, Netflix, navigation etc. still think it’s not fully optimized to my habits but it has been improving.
They do have a shaky hardware history but this is huge improvements all around. And technically only 2.5 months left in 2023 hahah Also appreciate your feedback! Thank you
I've had iPhones but never a Google phone, they are just fugly to me. I switched to Samsung with the Note 10+ and I never learned all of it's features before I got my S22 Ultra. I'm still learning the S22 Ultra in Oct 23! iPhones & Google Phones are $400 phones to me. They do very basic things good but they don't offer all the features compared to Samsung Ultra devices. If I spend $800-$1000 for a phone? I want it feature packed & that's what Samsung has offered me & I used to love Apple, my Wife has the 13 Pro that I bought her. However, anyone, even a child can figure out all an iPhone has to offer by watching a 30min video. My S22 Ultra will do everything & more the Google phone does. It's like buying Nikes, your just paying extra for the name, imo. 🤟
I used the Note 10+ for 2 years and it was a great phone. In previous years I would agree with you about the pixel but this year they definitely pushed way ahead in terms of overall quality and software!
We shall see and I hope so because the pixel 6p and 7p were still trash and full of bugs and shit battery life. Could care less about the camera if the rest of the phone sucks. I have the s23u and 15pm and while the pixel 8pro for now got a little better in the short time it’s been out, it still doesn’t match the outgoing s23 u esp one ui and good lock, s24 right around the corner. No hate towards pixel just my own experience. You did an amazing job representing the new phone. New sub here.🎉

My Google Pixel 8 pro will arrive sometime next week, how is the battery? And long does it take to get this thing fully loaded?
To charge from 20% - full takes 80-90 minutes while fast charging. Not the quickest. But battery life is consistently 7hrs or more screen on time

I would be so frustrated with the battery life. I'll stick to my s22U. Battery is still great and have had it since release.
Yeah the 22U is an unreal phone tbh. The pixel AI features wouldn’t be enough to want to spend more money just yet
