I had these as a child in elementary school. They were my Christmas gift and they were my school team, basketball shoes. I haven't had a pair since then 1995-1996 season. The midsole used to be foam...and the "2A" was the heel cushioning unit...so heel cushion technology like Reebok's "ERS" or "Hexalite".
Idk why it works cause this shoe is basically a combination of things I’ve always disliked (all white, looks like a boot, useless strap,cheap easy crease leather, white dirt/lent magnet sock liner). But somehow, it worked on me as a kid and still does. One of my top 3 favorites, had to get a pair when i saw them
total CLASSIC. Probably more appreciated now than they were WAY back then. Only issue is that FILA has never made a high quality shoe. EVER. 😆The aesthetic design of the Grant Hills is dope though.
i always wanted these in this og colorway. i bought a red and black suede pair of these but to me they ran small and i got rid of them to my brother inlaw. i saw these released and thought about copping i think they fire . and i love the 25 details and signature on them not too much but just enough. ✊️🙏
My pair has a really bad paint/chemical smell Does your pair have this issue? And the sockliner feels like a payless sneaker sockliner 🤣 I still love my pair though

that pretty much sums it all up. not out of a problem, but im pretty sure this is my last fila shoe. its the only one that ever really appealed to me.
You're probably the only person who mentions how big the front of these are, and I felt like I could've sized down from a 10 to a whole 9.
