yeah, I played for a bit over a week and got through the Luccent Tree story, and pretty much ran into the same issue. I dumped all my stuff into Odie trying to get him and was still like 6 copies from hitting Mythic and burnt through most of the most of the dream realm currency copies. Honestly, this is simply not a F2P friendly game if you are looking to be competitive. Maybe you can be competitive if there just arent that many people spending on your server but that's not something you can control.
This game takes time you won't max any character first week as a F2P,it took me 22 days to get Odie to mythic+ as a F2P.
@@kolden687 Then compared to me, you hit the lotto on rolls. I was barely into legendary +, let alone mythic. I think thats like 18 dupes ahead of me at 9 days, and no way I come close to that if I were to play another 2 weeks. I was past the point the game gave you a ton of tickets. I did have like 2-3 dream realm copies left to grab, but still.
I got a whole lot of Koko's and Korins, and I wasnt expecting to hit Mythic + in the first 3 weeks, but I didnt think id question if I could even hit mythic on a char by the time the character banner ended which is the major issue. I had a similar plan to Auronjjay and it didnt work.
Anything in these games can be solved with time, but you also have to balance how much fun vs frustration you are having. If you feel like your plan for an account is basically ruined and 9 days of effort were wasted... well its time to find something else (unless you are creating content for that game, then its just a learning experience). Its better to drop it than play something you arent enjoying.
If AFK journey had something else other than simply progression to hook on to, I could roll with it not working out, but it doesnt. There is nothing to do except simple progression in the various, similar modes.
Its because of this I decided that honestly the games frustrations outweighed the fun for me and have moved on. It happens, while I could give the game more time, I could also give that time to something else.

F2P is indeed pain
It depends on your luck too. I'm on my 28th day now with only 3 Mythic heroes, Odie being half pulled half Emporium. Cecia that's been hard carrying my team is still Legendary(not even plus) but I should be able to ascend her after the Emporium reset in 2 days. Currently at reso level 160 and AFK level 745. I accepted that my luck wont let me play competitively unless I spent real money. Today, which is my 28th, of all the heroes I need the free hero I got is Dionel. 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭
so do i spend all my 30 k gems on the normal pullls?
I would say this... if you wanna get Cecia to M+, go for it, but Carolina will be who you really wanna focus on there. Just imo for what it's worth.
Cecia is just so dang useful in pushing PVE content. Carolina is a BEAST no doubt though
Cecia is the n1 most useful unit, that's why everyone pushes her to mythic+
Carolina is oftentimes too slow to even get a cast out, an aoe summon+root can't be beaten by some snowballs

Dang I must have lucked out. I've got Rowan and Florabelle to Mythic+.... however that's it for Mythic! Spent maybe $5.
i agree that wishing on the standard banner is a way better idea as a f2p, but I think you expected to get mythic+ way sooner than is possible for a f2p. I'm 31 days in and only have one mythic + for reference (which i only got a day or two ago), so i'm not sure that you actually ruined ur account 10 days in
In one month of playing as f2p you are expected to have a full team of Mythic+ I think you just got unlucky with your pulls/ wrong wishlist/ inefficient spending of resources..
If not full team atleast 3 members at Mythic+ if we're talking about rng

it’s luck dependent as it’s a gacha game after all. I’m at day 15 with odie rowan at mythic with cecis going to m+ this reset. and then some at S+.
I'm F2P, have been playing for 18 days and while I ABSOLUTELY REGRET wasting 36 pulls on Florabelle, I am quite happy with my account: Supreme Smokey, Mythic Odie (x6 away from M+) and Mythic Cecia. Still no Thoran to help with bosses though. Being F2P can be frustrating but I think I'd run into the same issues even if I did spend on the game so... I'll just keep enjoying the PVE stages and Story at my own rhythm (that Vaduso NPC thirsting for Bryon was hilarious).
Why do you regret about getting florabelle?
@@davidcelis9315 Because it's 36 pulls that could have gone into the standard banner for another S-hero/duplicate that would be more useful to my account right now.

i feel like that is not how probability works. you can still pull x9 acorns and 1 A-level in one ten pull from the standard banner
btw imo the strong point of rate-up banners is that you can ascend that rate-up hero faster. ive seen people stuck at mythic for weeks and i mean weeks because they keep getting copies of different S-level heroes. i experienced it myself with my first account (12 days old) that had Cecia mythic (0/2) after buying from Arena Store, Shakir mythic (1/2) who i can't use and is most likely will be out dps by my A-level heroes for DR. mythic+ Rowan which is not a dps. and that is the result of pulling from standard banner.
my current account got Florabelle to mythic in 3 days and is now at Supreme in 10 days. Eironn, Hewynn, and Smokey at mythic (0/2). i am on my 14th day - Marilee is close to mythic+ at (6/12) and i can buy the reset after the monthly refresh. AFK stage 649 at resonance 140 2/5. this is way better progression compared to my previous account.
TLDR: your success will be based on your luck in gacha pulls but rate-up banner has a more stable/guaranteed way of ascending your main S-level hero
i want to emphasize that standard needs 60 pulls to hit pity. rate-up only needs 40 and you are guaranteed to get the rate-up hero
На самом деле в этой игре А персонажи не уступают в силе S персонажам. Автор упомянул Оди, Мерили, Корина, Коко. но так же в пвп-мете используются Арден и Дамиан, Випериан - один из лучших персонажей для Батл Дрил для накрутки аое урона на толстых пачках в цитаделях, сильвина + Вала могут уничтожить бэклайн противника в пвп.
I'm into game 3 weeks now. I have supreme+ cecia and a supreme vala and 1 more copy for leg+ flora. I'm pure f2p. No cap being f2p sometimes awful and I could spend up to 100 bucks but getting characters I want as f2p is just so satisfying and I know that spending 100-200bucks won't really make a change with a lot of whales in my server
If you don't care about the dream realm and primal lord rankings, f2p is a great experience.
I ranked well while I was f2p and the whales appeared and I spent 10-15 bucks and stopped cuz those who spend, will keep spending continuously and 'mild' spending can't overcome the power difference etc. Ruins the experience, if I don't chill out and just play.
learn from other games, if u are f2p, always ignore banner
you just stupid f2p ...save up gem first before doing banner for target copy
