❤ He looks so young and gorgeous¡!! Love it! This song brings me back as well. My mom playing Elvis daily. If it wasn't his music on 8 track or cassette tape, it was his movies on TV. 😊 TCB ⚡👑🌹

Good morning dear Nick! Treat Me Nice is a beautiful example of the Elvis that existed in that day. Always evolving, to watch him through the decades was much like viewing him through one of those flip books that shows it’s subject in rapid motion. Having said that, the most essential elements remained constant. Every song he sang all-in; his extraordinary play with short notes, his slippery use of the scales and tone that has yet to be matched. Still, where Elvis Presley is concerned the viewing experience widens as he shows us his meaning with his own brand of facial and body language. Even his hair gets involved, haha and we are as captivated by the music as he is. His musicians, if they are to remain as one with him, must carefully watch for it’s obvious that even Elvis doesn’t know where it’s going to take him. And speaking of “hair” there have been many documentaries on the subject of Elvis. I think they have so far, missed an opportunity to focus on his hair alone since every strand seemingly has a soul of its own.
I consider you Nick, the first important thing I do every Sunday morning!❤️

The guitar player, Scotty Moore and bass player, Bill Black, were with Elvis when he appeared on Milton Berle and Ed Sullivan. He took care of his friends.
Preferred era? Hard to say, Elvis was unique in all three. In the 50s he had that wonderful, high "pleading" quality to his voice, the early 60s Elvis' voice was at its smoothest which shined through on ballads and love songs. The late 60s & 70s his voice was the most mature and powerful, if a bit more gruff, and evoked powerful emotions.
Perhaps a slight preference to the later Elvis.

Loved this movie, he had great potential as an actor and would have been an Oscar caliber one. His singing was great his whole life, I listen to his music everyday. Of course his looks we're unparalleled. It's rare to hear all genders call a man breathtaking or beautiful but that was said about him. Thanks for your critique.

I don't prefer a particular era of Elvis myself. The man was blessed with a voice that was unmatched whether he was "baby" Elvis or the mature Elvis. I could listen to him sing his 50's songs through his 70's songs everyday and never tire! He was also blessed with a beauty that was breathtaking, honestly. I could watch him all day and never tire! Unfortunately, he wasn't blessed with good health and a long life though. Say, I haven't looked through your playlist, but there is a tune that is fun and different from ballads or rock n roll. If you haven't listened to * I Washed My Hands In Muddy Water* released in 1970, you may want to give it a listen! It's quite enjoyable! Another lovely reaction and I thank you so very much 😊

The 50's are full of great songs by Elvis. I enjoyed revisiting this Nick, it's one of my favorites & just one of the many songs written for Elvis, by Jerry Leiber & Mike Stoller.
Elvis was fantastic in all eras of his life, but for me it will always be the late 60's & 70's.
That's because I love the maturity in his voice & the way Elvis sings, you can feel the emotions & very soul of a man, who has experienced more in his life than anyone could ever imagine or ever understand ❤
Thank you Nick, always love "Elvis Sundays" never know what you are going to get👍😊

The beeeutiful "Let It Be Me" czcams.com/video/nSxjlJVW6z4/video.html using his audience walk-thu video, w-the little shout out he's famous for to finish (like his finish for Sweet Caroline). You'll hear him say "sing it Myrna." She was the soprano who was w-him then until she had to leave to have surgery. She did not return & that's when Kathy Westmoreland came on w-him.
