I’ve noticed that the CAGM-6 won’t fire unless your TGP has IFF’d a FOE
Oh really? So I might have been mistaken about not necessarily having the specific target selected. That's kind of weird though, because the missile is optically guided (I mean, so is the AGM65) but the warheads choose targets automatically after they are deployed so... why would you need to pick a specific target?
I think I may have had IFF locked on the TGP accidentally in this video, but I didn't do that on purpose. I just noticed it after I watched it back a few times :)
