I found your method to test the detail retrieval very interesting (8:40). Out of curiosity, I immediately opened Apple Music and listened to New Light Kazukii on my Hifiman Sundara connected to Schiit Modi&Magni in my office. In between 10 seconds and 1 minute of the song I can hear more than 30 counts that could be foot steps, but I am not certain because I can hear a lot of sounds. Can you clarify what kind of sounds you count as foot steps on dry grass?
The first one I count is at 11 seconds. That is the exact sound I listen for. There’s a lot going on in the track, and some of the wind and wave sounds can be mistaken as footsteps.

Was wondering if there was any reason that you turned your mic gain down? It kinda feels like you are whispering in this one. I could hear it fine with the volume turned up, but your voice sounds much more distant in this vid than your other vids.

Another great review! I know an extra pair of earpads would be great, but I bet that many companies look at that as "we don't want to encourage people to use headphones that long, they should be buying our next product instead!", thanks to planned obsolescence. At least Sivga and Sendy tend to provide great converters and cables for anything above their entry level headphones. Some of them might outlive the headphones themselves.
you have some good reviews, if I want. a. great sounding headset for, music and studio 2nd flat is not 100% needed. I was looking at austrian audio

The Austrian Audio headphones are not flat or neutral. If you want neutral, then you should look at the Rode NTH100 or one of the OLLO Audio headphones. Austrian Audio makes very analytical headphones-which is great if you’re trying to find imperfections.
Good to have you back NTR. Thanks for the review. Need some help with making a choice, I'm honestly hoping you can provide assistance in this, it's been so damn confusing.
Recently bought a 50Ohm, 100dB SPL pair of headphone. I'm looking for a decent Dongle Dac/Amp to pair it with. Now, they're fairly easy to drive right out of my PC port. But I live in a noisy environment. Sadly, there's no room for anymore volume.
Any Dongle Dac/Amp you can recommend, around 60ish dollar price range? My preference is solely Power/Loudness and Clarity & Neutral Sound Output. Here are some options, I've considered. It'd be amazing if you can pick from one of these, as they're on a sale currently in my country.

PC port amplification is notoriously underpowered. It’s similar to the amplification found on console controllers. Any of those dongle dacs will probably provide more power than your PC. But, you just have to be careful about their specs. A lot of times companies claim output in VRMS, and don’t provide any further detail regarding load/power measurements. From my cursory review of the list, I think most of these would work fine. I’ve tried the JCally, Moondrop, Tempotec, and Truthear products, and think they should work for your particular needs.

As for me it’s a pass …tho’ I’m redoing the entirety of my headphone stack/ setup…as this will probably be my endgame.

Man. Long time since I seen a review from you. Hope all is well No theme reviews. They should have sent you the Moon drop Venus instead. The joker just like the batman's joker is piercing knives in everyones ears. Not a fan of that tuning.
There aren't reviews of the Burson conductor 3XR out there, you could make a good one
