Kudos to his daughter for her forgiving heart and allowing her father to have a second chance with his granddaughter.
Exactly, in forgiving her Dad it opened up healing for her heart and I'm sure her granddaughter got a version of him that she never saw before. I'm so proud of the grown daughter. Redemption and restoration story.

It takes a real man to admit he messed up at one point as a father AND then try to show up for the time left. I respect that A LOT. I'm glad he has found what knowing God can do to your life when you hand it over to Him to help you. God bless this family ❤
You are so right🥹My late father did the same & when he came back into my life he tried everyday until his last breath being present. I’m from a British Indian fam, I was removed by Children’s Social Services & Police as it was classed unsafe & I was placed in a safe haven hostel (13) I went through sexual abuse by someone whom was supposed to be ‘a big Brother’ & I’m the youngest of all 5. He was thrown in prison & is on sex offenders list too. My dad found me & when I was 17 I did move back with my parents. I forgave them because I appreciated the honesty, apology, they didn’t do that to me & I can understand the fear of being outcasted etc but when parents admit their wrong, sincerely apologise & then make sure their present in their child’s life making positive change goes a very long way. I genuinely believe I’am blessed to have got the time to build such a close relationship with my dad, he became my best friend. Passed away when I was 30🙏
Papier is enjoying the best part of being a mature and amazing grandpa. He earned it. I appreciate his honesty.

Lucky man, right there! Not everyone gets a second chance. And Harvey is 100% right - responsibility done well is incredibly admirable.
I was very close to my grandfather, like the man was the apple of my eye,.. He was a giant who I watched slowly wither away until he passed away from cancer Christmas Day, 1995... fast forward to June 2006 I watched my grandmother succumb to the same at 16 years old after taking care of her for 3 years... Grandparents are the best, and I miss mine every single day.

My Grandfather had a horrible past but by the time I came along he was the greatest grandfather. I was in my early 20s when he left this earth. But I will never forget that man. He treated me like a princess every single time I was in his presence. Paul Jenkins my absolute Pop Pop. Its been over 30 years and never to be forgotten.
The road to redemption is chill bumps moment plain and simple.

My grand dad, which is also my mom’s dad is my best friend too. We always had a special bond since I was an infant. One thing we loved to do together was eat. We always mixed our food together and drop hot sauce on them.
These three guests have the exact same look, they are most definitely three generations of the same family! Beautiful family!

Grandparents are always the best parents because they have seen the faults they did when they were raising their own kids. So when you see how they care and love your own kids, remember that your own reminds them of you when you were little and they are just trying to reconcile and recreate the time they have missed when you were getting growing.

Aww, I’m a 68yo and feel sad sometimes as both my grandfathers died before I was born, I had one uncle, and a father in the navy whom I seen twice a year (then didn’t bother coming back when I was 9)……so I feel I missed out on a lot, especially when I see these kind of videos, they fill me with a joy I wish I had experienced growing up ❤️

And I thank God, that I am able to forgive my dad, and understand why he was not a father or a daddy. He lived a super toxic dysfunctional life with his family members as a child and as an adult. And I thank my Mom, for not staying and raising her children with him.
For years I was hurt, until I learned why he was not a husband or daddy. And then GOD, told me to love and forgive. I did, and it made it easier for me to love and forgive others who hurt me. And it taught me how to ask for forgiveness, and how to forgive myself 😊🩷🙏🕊️.
