Hello I tried listening to this wonderful wisdom with 1 earbud in, it was ok for me :) maybe this may help for you :)
Background music also distracts me from listening to the message in the voice, but fortunately this music is very subtle. Thank you:) .
Everyone is different out there, maybe with technology you can decide if you want background music and to choose what level.
Or if not too difficult to realise on with background and one plain :)
