This was extremely helpful! Thank you team E2! However, I suggest increasing the answering timer, since I didn't even get to finish two sentences for most of my responses. The exemplar responses also took much more time.

I'm a first time IELTS exam taker , just got my results today and my overall score is band 7 Speaking was my highest with band 8 score, (which I didn't expect)thank you E2!!!! The PPF method helped me a loooot! Wished I scored higher but given that I only studied a week, it ain't bad haha😅 I spent a week binging E2's youtube vids and spent 2 days on E2 & IDP's website mock tests. 😄 I'm not a native english speaker but eng is our 2nd language so not sure if that helped me. @@AmaanKhan-sf6sb I practiced listening writing speaking everyday for a week until the exam. For writing follow the essay formats on E2 youtube channel. That makes the writing task very easy. Also understand the question before you begin writing. I ended up writing off topic in the exam. For speaking practice all questions on E2 language with a partner. Although the questions I got during the exam were new I still felt confident since I had practiced speaking on various topics. There are a lot of mock listening videos on CZcams that you can practice with. All the best.

Is there a reason you keep that 20s timer through the first and the third section? You end up taking ~24s to get through half of each of your responses. I think you should remove it so that you don't create unnecessary urgency in people practicing. That could be key to people taking a little more time and performing better while apparently still not impacting their score.
