Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Slightly heavy
Thanks for pointing it out. We stand corrected!
@@goOutdoorZonewell which is it?!?
hey pls put the link in the discription next time ty, great video tho keep it up!
Links are already given in the description. Please check.
Overstated and mainly misleading hype about "insulated" tents that don't fit any reasonable definition of insulated. Advertising pretending to be information.
We're sorry if you felt that way.
You obviously aren’t educated in the outdoors. In 4 season tents winter campers and mountaineering circles the lingo is self evident. Don’t place your ignorance on others
What do you mean by insulated tents? I personally own the Trango 3 and it’s NOT insulated. It IS a 4 season tent!
Yeah - this is nonsense
weird. Number #3 you consider lightweight. But #2 you consider slightly heavy.😕 Exsternal poles are sweet. But doing winter they suck. Theey get ice on them an hey freeze. Have you ever been hiking in the winter i have. -48 below . I learned a lot on that adventure.

Crua seems like the best for staying warm but I don't like that it doesn't let some light in.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Try Hilleberg tents, this globetard left the best off his list
I can't believe the trendsetting NEMO Chogori didn't make your top 5.
We already ordered this one. Thanks for sharing!

You're gonna love it! ❤️
Thank you.
You're welcome!
This is the kind of content the downvote button was invented for. Welcome to the new CZcams
I come for the negative comments on this joke of a video!
Okay this video is so stupid! How in the hell do you show a guy in a North Face Mountain 25 Tent standing up with two sleeping bags, one what looks like a double sleeping bag, a baby crib, in a TWO person tent which is a pitch height of 41 inches and area footprint of 86 x 54 inches which is just a floor Area of 32.3 square feet???? I mean really??? REALLY??
Wat
Is this real 💀
@@Chasehammons The problem is they are using different tents in their review of that tent. The first shot is correct but the image of the man standing is not. That is not the correct tent or model for the Mountain 25 tent that they are using! You can see in the video that the tent only has room for maybe two oversized twin sleeping bags yet in the video they show a man standing with two single and either a full or queen sleeping bag with a crib placed along the width of the tent??? Really??? A crib in a two person tent? With a person standing up??? Are these people midgets??? All this video is is a paid marketing spot! Nobody, in their right mind, take this serious because they are here to give the companies publicity! They are not worried about being factual, they just want to promote! If you want a true view then look at a video of a person who owns one. czcams.com/video/TEYcgyWBOrU/video.html I don't have any association with them. I just did a quick search to see who owned one and is doing a review.
I'm surprised there's no Hilleberg. 🤔

Pros: Affordable
Cons: Expensive
Thanks for pointing it out. We stand corrected!
Only one tent was insulated of the five.
Which?
I miss the thumbs down counter so I can not waste my time with poor videos. Really pro affordable con expensive. You guys really took the time to make graphics that literally say the opposite in pro/con.
That was a mistake and we stand corrected! Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for pointing it out.
Crua Duo Maxx is not MODULAR unless you include the Crua Core!
Yeah! Thanks for sharing!
Personally I use a fire hiking hot tent tipi and a Outdoorsman's gear wood stove, nothing like a tent with a few logs stays at 76 degrees
Sounds great!
These are not insulated tents lol. Tents like these do not "keep you warm" they keep out the wind and snow and keep you dry. Being they are 4 season, they are made for the mountains and very heavy. For winter camping, in the lower 48, not way up in the mountains, all that's needed are 3 season tents.
Thanks for the tips!
Technically the double wall tents are insulated by the air that's between the rain fly and the canopy.
@@RealJohnWayne You're not going to feel "insulated" in one. Warmth comes from the sleep system, never the tent. 4 season tents are better at trapping some of your body heat, but keep in mind, if you attempt to do this, you'll get a lot of condensation. It's best to allow airflow by keeping vents open, than trying to insulate a tent. Let the tent keep you dry and your sleep system keep you warm. Get your sleep system wet, you'll be neither.
@@Warrior_Resisting_Colonialism
I didn't address your sleep system, that's another subject, I was addressing your saying these tents aren't insulated, which is incorrect, air is an insulation, and it's a fact that these double wall tents can easily keep the inside temperature an average of 10°-15° warmer inside than the outside temperature, with the vents partially open, and with a minimal amount of condensation, which will mostly be in the form of ice on the exterior wall.
The noticeably warmer inside temperature isn't necessarily to keep you more comfortable while in your sleep system, it's when you exit your bag that you'll notice and appreciate that 10°-15° difference.
@@RealJohnWayne lol ok........... You're not wrong. I know all this. I do agree. Call them "insulated" if you prefer. I don't care.
None of these "ratings" or reviews matter. It's just who pays them to advertise.
where are the Hillebergs?
Thanks a bunch for your suggestion. We'll definitely take a look.
#2 hard to beat, What?
Yeah!
I love all the cons are they are expensive...🤷♂️😂
You have a point!

pros affordable
cons expensive
WTF?!
I have absolutely no desire to go camping in the winter.
Understandable
Insulated!? The MH is not insulated!!!
hands down the worst review video I've ever seen ... so much stock video footage ... 😒
Sorry to hear that
How is Hilleberg not on this list?
Thanks for the suggestion. We'll take a look into it.
