In our country you can't really aqcuire much wealth since the taxes are high af. The government uses and abuses of the Keynesian economics. It's as far as the social democracy can go to the left tbh.
Also, the political parties are an absolute scam, and we still have 2 far-left (PCP and Left's Block) and 1 far-right parties (Enough!, which is just there to protest the dominance of the left) that are pretty damn active in the political game. In a general scheme, the Socialist Party (which is basically similar to what your social democrat Bernie Sanders would support) is basically the dominant one.
Things are not looking so good here. But that's the general landscape in pretty much every country, USA very much included because of these latest events.
Be it in Portugal or in any other country, people gotta get their shit together. Otherwise, you're fucked.

It’s funny that jocko sees it how it is. I was infantry in the Marine Corps and we always had those talks from either the battalion sgt major or commander about how they want to get rid of the Marines. That the only reason the Marine Corps exists is because the people want us around because we win battles and we always want to strive to win their hearts and minds.
Jocko I don't know if you'll ever see this but I really hope you do. I have come to realize that when I'm going about my day and I'm feeling lazy or unmotivated and I begin to rationalize to myself why I should or should not do something at the time I hear you in the back of my head saying "Those little lies you tell yourself..." after hearing that I remember that I should stay determined and disciplined to achieve my goals. Likewise whenever I am practicing my underwaters and I'm beginning to choke and it's getting tough to stay under I hear you say "Good." and I remember that no matter how hard I think it is, I can make it. And when I focus on that one word I make it. Every. Time. Thank you for becoming my internal voice of discipline.

that’s why I don’t have Twitter or even Facebook. this is my only social media account and I stay anonymous especially since I don’t trust the millions of angry hateful jealous haters . my brother has Facebook and so do my friends so that’s how I catch up on people I haven’t seen in a minute plus I have their phone numbers. I made a really awesome friend who lives in Arizona through a friend. he’s a little older and has a masters degree in accounting. he’s hot ...blond tall and actually he’s one hundred percent blind so he’s really smart and brave. and of course I got kicked out of high school but he doesn’t care and never judged me . he’s very supportive and I really like him . eventually I’m going to visit him and take him hiking. of course I’ll have to hold onto him but I’m cool with that. he’ll take me to all the best restaurants and spots in Arizona. he likes Mexican food like I do . well I like all food almost. I’m really glad I know good people so I pay attention to them. I’m very blessed .

The single seat car Jocko talks about is actually a Lamborghini egoista. It’s a concept car which basically means that its a prototype. The McLaren F1 however was designed to be a single seat car but McLaren had to make the car practical so they added additional seats on both sides of the driver seat.

Echo, what kind of tripods are these? I'm looking for a stable yet easily adjustable one for my mike, any recommendations?
What happens when you've got the reverse problem? Such as, you've got a strategic objective, but you suffer a set of tactical setbacks during the movement towards the goal. Now you've got to adjust your strategic goal because the landscape has changed and the outcomes that are available aren't the same. At what point do you say "OK, I've got to set aside this big goal to deal with these little issues to accomplish a new big goal"? And is that situation primarily strategic or tactical? It begs the question as to whether better tactics would have been more applicable.
I'm thinking Go here. Playing against my wife I had this strategic image. But in two situations I lost track of some tactical components and so she was able to create a strong pattern that defies the strategic goal I set in place. Now I have to adapt to a new strategy with a slimmer odds of success. It feels like had I made better tactical decisions at those moments, I wouldn't have failed to achieve the initial strategic goal. Then again, I was playing with her both those times while tired and emotionally distressed. That might have been a strategically poor decision!

I’m a civilian an my nick name/call sign has always been “what if “... People say I’m a smart guy an of course I don’t believe it but I find myself being right most of the time an kicking myself in the ass....There is always that possibility that I wrong an could cause damage, money, etc. I’m tired of it causing work, money , relationship issues an I don’t know how to shut “what if off”. Can you please share some advice I couldn’t think of 2 better people to ask, thank you and god bless.

I think cuz Krav Maga focuses on delivering most damage in short time is the most effective and brutal one.

How come the Peace Corps only gets budgeted 410 million dollars but the Dept of Defense gets
705.4 billion dollars? That’s seems very financially and fiscally lopsided and unwise when you compare the benefits of peace with the benefits of Defense. Couldn’t we do a lot more positive things for the needy if we gave the Peace Corps a few lousy billion dollars?? A meager
3 Billion dollars to fund a fully humanitarian and good effort? Then put some transparent govt. oversight over the better funded and better equipped peace operations and the bit of money and we’re ready to go do some real good!
