    One of the things people keep forgetting, signing a contract takes two parties. Do you not think Dak and his agent know these same things and that’s why they are waiting. CeeDee knows Justin and Jamar are waiting for contracts and he wants to wait to be the highest paid. The Jones can’t sign a person that doesn’t want to sign yet. Their agents have something to say about when they sign

    What if the cowboys actually have a plan to replace the core in the off-season? What if the cowboys plan on parting ways with Dak and Mike McCarthey only to replace them with Jimmy G and Bill Belichick…

    He isn’t paying because he wants to get out. He is cutting his losses. He doesn’t want Dak. Dak outsmarted jones last time. He needs to just take this next year as it comes and clean house. That’s what he’s doing. Why do you think he is obligated to keep Dak and pay him. ? His best way out is to let him play it out and let him go.

      I don't even think Dak is great or anything, but they aren't going to have anyone else for QB if they don't pay him.
      Dallas will just have to stink while they're paying Micah and CD I guess.
      Quarterbacks better than Dak don't generally hit the free market, and Cowboys are not going to be in position to draft one high any time soon.

    • @PGO_Gaming
      @PGO_Gaming Před 19 dny

      @@codyb.3015 Why not? Cooper Rush showed that you can put a game manager on that team and he can be over .500 in his win pct. Dak stinks. Stop tying up the salary cap on a mediocre QB and move on from him. Give Trey Lance and Cooper Rush a chance to be the QB. Cut $50-70 million dollars off of your cap and follow the 49ers model, instead of doing what everyone else does and locks up their own mediocre QB.

  • @em1355

    I am a long-time Cowboys fan from the 1960s and this constant contract drama from the Cowboys is just plain stupidity on the part of the Cowboys FO, mainly Jerry and Stephen Jones. The Cowboys' overall draft "good", yet they do a poor job of deciding before the third year whether or not a player is worth extending. Their weakness is not extending the players they consider "good" when these players are eligible to get an extension. Year after year they have done this and it costs them an additional two to five million per year, which is not indicative of a well-run front office. If a "normal" GM would do this, the owner would have fired that GM and the Salary Cap person many years ago, and yet, here we are, nepotism at its finest because Jerry and Stephen are not going anywhere. When it comes to building a team, both Jerry and Stephen are total IDIOTS! How long does it take to see that "their way" of doing business is more expensive and idiotic and yet, the press and sports analysts GIVE THOSE TWO IDIOTS A PASS when they interview them!! PS: I would not extend Dak! They should have paid him immediately when he was eligible for an extension back in 2019 and most likely Dak's cap numbers would have been more manageable and it is likely that the Cowboys would not have been forced to "accept" the no-trade clause and no-franchise tag option. This MESS is the JONES' CREATION!!!

    • @PGO_Gaming
      @PGO_Gaming Před 19 dny

      Of course because Dak should be gone. For some reason they still want him here. Get rid of him and draft a QB or pick up a QB in free agency. Sick of the nonsense from Dak Prescott, and our ownership that is willing to deal with it WITHOUT SUPER BOWLS.

  • @farrisguinn8744
    @farrisguinn8744 Před 20 dny +2

    When Prescott leaves and the Cowboys dtart losing games I want all the Dak hating fans to keep that same energy and say..."we may be losing but at least we don't have Dak": oh we will just draft a rookie qb and hope things get better...in the immortal words of Bill Parcell..."were fixin to find out".

    • @PGO_Gaming
      @PGO_Gaming Před 19 dny +1

      I don't want to hear that nonsense. Losing in the first round of the playoffs when you are favored is just as embarrassing as missing the playoffs. Dak cost us the 49ers playoff games at home and in San Francisco and he threw interceptions in the first half of the Green Bay debacle. I don't want to hear about the "be careful what you wish for". Dak is not the guy. If he ain't winning Super Bowls or getting to the NFC Championship game, he ain't the guy.

    Trey Lance is going to be the starting quarterback next year for the Dallas Cowboys

  • @marvinshenk
    @marvinshenk Před 20 dny +1

    Dallas will give Dak a new deal that is just slightly higher than the last big QB's deal. That's the way things are. In 5 years, the $55 mil per year they paid Dak will seem like a bargain when teams are paying $60 mil per year. Dak probably won't win anything in the post season, but he's good enough to keep the Cowboys business going. Jerry doesn't sell the Steak, he sells the Sizzle.

    • @PGO_Gaming
      @PGO_Gaming Před 19 dny

      It ain't a bargain because he ain't the guy. Why are you throwing away money and cap space to a guy that "probably won't win anything in the postseason"? A game manager like Cooper Rush can take over and win 10-12 games with this roster, like he was on his way to doing before Dak came back two years ago. Stop locking up a mediocre QB.

  • @geraldtn3175
    @geraldtn3175 Před 20 dny

  • @CalixtoErico
    @CalixtoErico Před 20 dny

    Because Dak needs to show results this season.

  • @ruggedmeetsrefined5345

    A good offensive line covers a multitude of QB sins. Dak should be nothing but grateful that Jerry Jones wants to prove to everybody just how smart he was for signing Dak to his first big contract. Truth is Cowboys always do well on offensive line of seems, and you could get a QB for way cheaper to do what Dak does.

  • @PGO_Gaming
    @PGO_Gaming Před 19 dny

    The first 10 seconds and I'm already disgusted. I'm sick of hearing "the price goes up the longer you wait". WHY? He's a mediocre QB. Play out the season and draft a QB or pick up one in free agency. What the heck would the Cowboys be doing locking up Dak long-term when he has demonstrated HE'S NOT THE GUY? Goodness gracious. Stop throwing away money.

  • @donwilson1307
    @donwilson1307 Před 20 dny

    If they let Dak walk after this yr, the Cowboys will have 11 draft picks in 2025 plus 100 million in cap space. The rebuild starts in 2025. Lamb will be signed and Parson's has 2 yrs left on contract.

  • @brianstollings6416

    Any QB getting more than Mahomes is overpaid. You can say all you want about “market value”, but market value is not always correct. Chiefs are going to have the SB locked down for awhile.

    I say the Cowboys hold off signing Dak to see what happens with the Falcons situation with Kirk. If the Falcons what to move on with Penix now, let Dallas buy out Kirk contract and trade Dak for a #1 pick to a team that needs a QB (Miami might be ready to move on from Tua) Kirk can fill in until the Cowboys use that #1 pick on them a QB in the draft.
