- How to operate the LG dvd player without a remote. How to change the input mode without a remote control LG DVD player, no remote input mode change - it can easily be achieved by pressing and holding the button as shown in the video until the display flashes, and then click the button (click and release) until you reach the input mode you desire. The player gives you around two or so seconds in between clicks, and if the player display stop flashing and you have not reached your desired input mode, simply hold the button again and click again, a few practice rounds and you will be an expert. LG DP132 DVD Player doesn't have any kind of display as feedback needed to change anything with. Could've been more specific in your title, as in the LG stereo that has a DVD Player mode.

Then my friend your unit requires a repair. You could try to hold in a button and turn the power on at the socket if it does not power up, you would have to get the unit repaired
