I started as QMS Auditor at fashion industry my first job, then was an assistant merchandiser & Merchandiser for KFL Group (Apparel Manufacturer) & Richtex sourcing(Sourcing Agent). So, I really grew into the job with my previous employer.

With your background I believe you are more than qualified to apply for the Buyer Assistant roles. Back yourself and apply - you never know what the outcome may be 🤍
Any advice on someone with a fashion merchandising bachelor’s but I graduated over a decade ago. I see mostly internships for recent graduates to get in the field.
why not apply for the internships?

I know what you mean - there are always a lot of roles looking only for recent graduates. If buying is what you are wanting to do, I would suggest getting a buyers assistant role and working your way up to a buyer level. There are usually always some buyer assistant roles available that aren’t only for recent graduates. Good luck on your search 🤍

Not that I am aware of unfortunately! I would suggest in person experience and apply for roles such as buyers assistant.

Unfortunately none that I am aware of! Buying really dips into a lot of different fields including accounting, store operations, marketing and many many more! General business books will definitely help you with learning ☺️
